Adult Foster Care Rescheduled from January - Monday March 2, 11:00 am Project Home/Adult
foster Care is a state-wide program providing community living for individuals with mental, medical,
and/or physical disabilities. Clients live in the private residence of the care provider who is responsible
for room/board, meals, transportation, and supervision of medication administration. Providers are paid
with a combination of client and state funding. Presented by Erika Fowlkes Dept. of Social Services.

DeZoet by David Mitchell. April read is Never Cry Wolf by Farley Mowat. Join the group anytime.

Bykota Travel Policy
Members of Bykota are given first preference and may take a non-member guest.
· Any traveler age 60 and over must become a member of Bykota.
· Reservations must be made in person.
Cancellation policy all trips—If replacement is made, money is refunded. Otherwise—
No Refund.
· All day trips require payment in full. Refunds only if we have a waiting list, or replacement.

Bykota Senior Center Mission Statement
To provide individuals 60 years old and older with opportunities for personal growth
and development through socialization and mental and physical stimulation in a
safe and friendly environment. To provide information services for seniors and to
promote the programs of the Baltimore County Department of Aging that aid and
enhance this mission.
Inclement Weather Policy
It is the policy of the Baltimore County
Department of Aging to open and fully
operate its programs as scheduled.
The effects of severe weather and
concern for the safety of our
constituents may, however, lead us to
close centers, CountyRide, and other
services/programs. When this or
closing for any other reason occurs,
media announcements regarding
closures or late openings will ONLY
be made on WBAL Radio, 1090 AM;
WBAL-TV 11; WJZ-TV 13 and
WMAR-TV 2. Senior Centers will
open at 10:30 am when a 2-hour
delay is reported. * Please Note-If
there is No Closing message we are
Open as usual.

Bykota Highlights U.S. Politics
Dr. José López-González has been teaching interdisciplinary courses in philosophy, politics and economics in Odyssey Program of Johns Hopkins University,
Towson University and several senior-citizen communities.
The Spring course is The 2007-2008 Financial Crisis:
Origins & Consequences We learn about the origins, consequences and possible solutions to the
US Financial Crisis of 2007-2008. We discuss such
topics as: subprime lending, financial regulations,
bank supervision, regulation of credit-rating agencies, effects on economic development, and the international financial system.
