Claim for Parenting Payment When to use this form Use this form to claim Parenting Payment: • if you are single and have a dependent child under the age of 8 years in your care, OR • if you are partnered and have a dependent child under the age of 6 years in your care. What else you will need to provide You will need to provide proof of identity. There is a complete list of acceptable documents in the Information Booklet. You should receive advice about your claim for Parenting Payment within 28 days of lodging this form and any requested documents. www.
