 February 25, 2015
Dear Families,
In this packet, you will find all the information you need to re-enroll your child for the next academic year.
We’re excited about the wonderful plans for the 2015-2016 academic year, and we look forward to having
your family return to continue the educational journey we’ve begun. In the coming year, we are anticipating a
number of enhancements to our facilities, our academic programs, and our extracurricular offerings.
The construction on campus this year has required everyone’s patience, but it will yield great results for next
year! We’re especially excited about the expansion of our building. Our goal is to create environments that
encourage creativity and innovation. Flexible learning, meeting, and performance spaces will provide the
foundation for a school experience like no other. These great new facilities, along with our talented faculty
and wonderfully diverse student body, will allow us to fulfill the potential of the IB programmes.
Emma López, our new Director of Fine Arts, is spearheading the creation of curriculum programs that will give
students many more opportunities to explore music, visual arts, and drama, both during the school day and in
after school activities. We also look forward to enhancing our athletics programs under the guidance of our
new Director of Athletics, Amit Shah. We remain committed to becoming the school of choice for an
international education in the North Houston area. To that end, we are pursuing authorization for the
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and Middle Years Programme, and of course we will
continue to offer the Primary Years Programme.
Information about tuition and fees for 2015-2016 is attached, along with a re-enrollment form that should be
completed and returned to us by March 12, 2015. Copies of the re-enrollment packet will also be available
at the front desk for your convenience. Be sure to read the complete packet to understand everything that is
included with tuition this year.
It is essential that you return your form on time to ensure a space for your son or daughter. Interest in our
school has remained strong, and we do have many applicants waiting in the wings. Many grades will reach
capacity levels once new students are accepted. I hope that you will be a part of our 2015 – 2016 school year.
Thank you for your trust and support.
Best Regards,
Carrie Meeks
Head of Lower School

The Woodlands Preparatory School, LLC, Enrollment Agreement
This Agreement is entered into between The Woodlands Preparatory School, LLC, (the “School”) and both
parents or guardians, or other persons responsible for payments with an interest in enrolling or re-enrolling
the student into the School. A completed copy of this Agreement must be signed and returned to the
Admissions Office, accompanied by a non-refundable Enrollment Deposit of $1,850, by March 12, 2015.
A student is accepted for enrollment or re-enrollment when the Agreement has been delivered to the School,
countersigned and dated. A copy of the accepted Agreement will be returned prior to the start of the school
year. No amendment to this Agreement and no alteration or addition to the printed terms hereof will be
effective without the express prior written approval of the Head of School.
In consideration of the acceptance of this Agreement by the School, the undersigned agrees to pay the
required TOTAL TUITION for the full academic year and any additional fees incurred and agrees to be bound
by the provisions of this Agreement. So long as tuition and fee payments are not delinquent, payments are
due no later than the dates listed on this Agreement.
Enrollment and re-enrollment is conditioned upon the following terms:
1. Successful completion of the current academic year and recommendation of the School is required for
the re-enrollment of currently enrolled students.
2. Tuition payments must be received by the School on or before each due date as established in Exhibit
A to this Agreement. Tuition for students entering the School after the start of the school year will be
pro-rated based on an established schedule.
PAYMENT:
Checks should be made payable to The Woodlands Preparatory School LLC. I understand that all monies
paid to the School under this Agreement are nonrefundable and nontransferable under any
circumstances. I further understand that if I do not submit the Enrollment Deposit on time, this offer of
enrollment may be withdrawn and unsecured spaces may be made available to new students. Accepted
methods of payment include cash, check, bank transfer, cashier’s check, ACH. Installment plans are also
available.
(continued on next page)
6
I understand and agree that my child is being enrolled for the entire 2015-2016 school year. I further
understand that the overhead expenses of the School do not diminish with the departure of some students
during the course of the school year, and I agree that it is impossible for the School to determine at the time
of my execution of this Agreement the damage and loss that would occur due to cancellation/withdrawal of
some of the students who have enrolled.
Therefore, once this Agreement is signed and the Enrollment Deposit paid, I become liable for the
entire year's tuition and fees as liquidated damages even if my child is withdrawn, absent, or is
involuntary separated from the School for any reason. I further understand that my obligation to pay
tuition and fees for the full academic year is unconditional, and that after August 1 no portion of
tuition and/or fees paid or outstanding will be refunded or canceled in the event of absence,
withdrawal, or dismissal from the School for the above student.
I understand that if my child has applied for or received an award or tuition employer benefits that are
applied toward the amount of tuition and/or fees hereunder, I remain primarily responsible for all obligations
under this Agreement. The School will issue me a notice reflecting the amount of aid or scholarship and the
balance due. I agree to pay the balance due pursuant to the payment plan established by the School. The
School is entitled to be reimbursed for any attorney’s fees and costs incurred in the collection of any unpaid
balance.
TUITION REFUND PLAN (TRP):
Please note that a tuition refund insurance plan is mandatory. The TRP is not included in the price of tuition.
In view of my unconditional obligation to pay tuition and fees for the full academic year, I understand that
participation in the TRP is required. I have received and read the document detailing the terms and
conditions of the TRP which are set forth in a separate document made available to me. The TRP will insure
tuition in the event of absence or separation according to the terms of the policy. Additionally, I authorize
the School to collect any claim payment to which I am entitled under the Tuition Refund Plan and credit
it to my account, paying any excess to me. I agree to pay the School whatever balance remains unpaid
after any payment by the TRP is credited to my account within 30 days after receipt of a final, itemized
bill.
(Continued on next page.)

dress, moral conduct, and disciplinary standards; to assume the responsibility for parental monitoring of my
child's education, being an encourager and keeping in regular contact with my child's teachers; and to attend
mandatory meetings called by the School. I also agree to support to the best of my ability the School's entire
program through attendance at parent meetings and participation in various School activities.
The student and the student's family agree to comply with and be subject to the School's rules and policies
as set forth in the Parent-Student Handbook, as amended from time to time.
The School reserves the right to dismiss any student whose scholarship, conduct, or cooperation is
unsatisfactory. Fees will not be refunded by the School when a student is suspended or expelled. I
understand that no refund or cancellation of tuition or fees will be made by the School for absence,
withdrawal, and/or expulsion/dismissal before the end of the school year and agree to assume full
responsibility for tuition and all related fees.

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS
An account is considered delinquent if not paid within 7 business days of the due date. A late payment fee of
1.5% or the maximum permitted by law per year will be charged on a delinquent account. Whenever a tuition
or fee account becomes past due for a period of 61 days from its due date, then, unless the School obtains
adequate security acceptable to the School for such account within that 61 day period, the student may be
withheld from attending classes until the delinquency is cured. In all events, the first tuition installment
payment must be paid on or before the first day of school or the student's place will not be reserved.
Transcripts will be held for students until all unpaid tuition and fees are received.
