YT introduced a Center Cut Strip Steak

Featured entrées include a choice of any
two sides. Diners have 11 sides to choose
from when ordering a featured entrée,
from traditional choices like cottage or
sweet potato fries, to healthier selections
such as fresh fruit or a YT house salad, to
comfort food, such as the newly added

excitement for YT Medina Server
Robin Hodges.
Hodges, a Spanish major and International Business minor at Cleveland State University, spent five
weeks last summer studying in
Costa Rica. While there, she began
dating a young man named Oscar
Diaz and continued a long distance
relationship with him when she returned to the States.
In December, she accompanied a
group from Heartland Church in
Medina on a Medical Missions trip
to Nicaragua, where she served as a
translator. “One of my guests told
me about the trip. She said it
changed her life. I had just finished
doing a project about Nicaragua,”
said Hodges.
The 50-year-old Northern Ohio Singing
Angels organization engages youth
from more than 70 communities in
quality music and performing arts education that teaches teamwork, builds
confidence, and provides a foundation
for life.
After the trip to Nicaragua, she returned to Costa Rica to visit Diaz.
They visited Montezuma, an endearing little beach town, and Monte Verde, a cloud forest. At the end
of the trip, he proposed and Hodges
said “yes.”
The future looks bright for Hodges
too. She’s graduating from Cleveland State in May and looking forward to planning a wedding.

Schmid says Kaila attends multiple
Singing Angels weekly rehearsals, but
that hasn’t stopped her from excelling
at school, where she takes honors classes, participates in the school choir and
sings in a group called Northern Lights.
She is also learning to play guitar and
read music.

Walker looks forward to spring
Snow. Ice. Bitter cold temperatures. That’s what DeMarco Sanders, a dishwasher and prep cook at
YT Chagrin Falls, faced this winter
as he made his daily walk to and
from work.
Sanders, 33, began
working at YT nearly 12
years ago. Since then,
five days a week,
Sanders, who does not
drive, walks several
miles from his family’s
home to work and
back again. That’s
over 1,000 miles a
year!
Sanders says spring is
his favorite walking
season, noting, “It’s
not too hot, not too
cold.” What gets him
Music from the heart
through walking in the winter? “A
good pair of boots.”
General Manager Randy Butwina
says other team members often
offer Sanders rides
and managers try to
schedule his shift to
end at the same time
as other co-workers.
Rain or shine, Demarco Sanders
walks to work every day.
Sanders, a Kenston
High School graduate, says he likes
working at YT,
“because it’s a reliable job” and his favorite YT menu item
is a BLT. When he’s
not at work, he enjoys playing video
games, especially
sports games, and
browsing the Internet.
Most of the
conversation
in the “heart
of the house”
at YT Mentor
focuses on
one thing –
music.
In fact, Matt
Durkee, Chris Lottes, Chris Oriold,
Dave Paynter, Joe Sullivan and
Richard Flores all play musical instruments.
Most play guitar; some play
drums, but Oriold plays just about
every instrument. He says, “I play
trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, flute,
French horn, baronet, percussion,
bass, and guitar.”
Though they haven’t formed a
band, they occasionally get together to “jam” just for fun, according to Oriold.
5 Things - Spotlight on Coleen Crowley

Hair Salon and Spa.
5. Coleen, a lively extrovert, says her favorite
menu item is Eggs Bruschetta.
