Respect Life Awards 2015
Our Lady of Victory Students Receive High Honors at the
Diocese of Rockville Center’s
2015 Respect Life Contest
“Each of us is a Masterpiece of God’s Creation,” was the theme for this year’s annual Respect
Life Contest sponsored by the Respect Life Office of the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
Participation in the contest is through music, photography, essay, video clip, photomontage,
poetry, and bookmark design. The contest is designed to educate and provide a platform for
youth to express and share their ideas and feelings on Respect Life issues that promote the
dignity and respect for all persons from conception through natural death.
With the support of our 8th grade Religion teachers, Miss Mangione and Mrs. McAloon, all of
our 8th graders submitted an entry to be considered for the contest. Over 1,200 students
throughout the Diocese submitted their original works. Our Lady of Victory School, once again,
