In compliance to the orders issued by the Director of School Education, Telangana,
Hyderabad it has been decided to conduct SA III for Classes I-IX from 1-4-2015 to 11-4-2015.
The Heads of institutions of Government, Aided and Private Unaided schools are hereby
informed that Summative III for Classes I-IX will be conducted as per the time table given
below.

On the day of examination, Question paper packets will be distributed from concerned distribution
centre from 1/4/2015 to 8/4/2015 between 1PM - 1.30PM and from 9/4/2015 to 11/4/2015 between
7.45AM-815AM.A responsible person should go to the centre with authorization letter to receive the
question paper packets. The person has to take with him a copy of Figure Statement and verify the
Q.P.packets supplied. If any discrepancies are noticed at the distribution centre, contact the Secretary, District
Common Examination Board (at V.V.Kanyashala, Near Old CBS) for further requirement of question papers.
 Question Papers for Classes I-V of Government & Aided schools will be distributed
through Concerned Deputy Inspector of Schools.

Assessment in Vocational Courses may be conducted before Main subjects. Question papers
will not be supplied by the DCEB. They have to make their own arrangements for conduct of
Vocational Course Assessments.

Examinations should be conducted strictly according to the time table communicated by this office.

Question papers must be collected in the allotted time from the distribution centre.

Institutions presenting Private (dropouts) candidates have to receive Hall Tickets for the candidates
blank answer scripts and other stationery from O/o. DCEB on 30-3-2015 between 2PM-5PM.They should not
allot any Hall Ticket number on their own to any Private candidate.

After every examination, the institutions have to send the answer scripts of Private candidates in
sealed packet-Class, Paper & Medium wise to The Secretary, District common Examination Board by 5.30
PM.
Summer Vacation: All the schools will remain closed from 24-4-2015 to 11-6-2015 (both days inclusive)
for Summer Vacation and will reopen on 12-6-2015.
NOTE:
1). All the Heads of institutions are instructed to be in contact with DCEB about registration for the
Academic year 2015-16 which has to be completed by 31-7-2015.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE HEADMASTERS TO BE FOLLOWED DURING AND AFTER SA III
The exams may be conducted from 02.00 PM to 04.45 PM for classes VI to IX after having Mid
Day Meal from 1st to 8th April, 2015 in view of most of the schools are being involved in SSC
examinations as centres. During 9th and 10th April, 2015 two papers will be conducted on each day from
08.30 AM to 2.45 PM and from 08.30 AM to 11.45AM on 11 th April, 2015. In case of primary schools and
primary sections of upper primary schools, the exams may be conducted in the morning session from
09.00 to 11.30 AM.
In the High Schools with primary sections wherever SSC examinations are being conducted,
the examinations for primary classes may be conducted in the nearby schools/ institutions or may be
conducted in the afternoon session i.e. 02.00PM to 4.30PM.
During examination period, the school timings for the High Schools and Upper Primary
sections in Upper Primary Schools will be from 01.00 to 05.00 PM. Mid Day Meal programme must
be conducted at 01.00 PM during these days.
During the examination period i.e. from 1 st to 11th April, 2015 the answer scripts must be valued
and Cumulative Records shall be completed in all aspects. The final results shall be declared and
Cumulative Records must be issued to the children.
All the Registers and Records must be completed and final Consolidated Register proforma shall
be submitted to concerned MEOs and School Complex HMs in case of Primary Schools and to the
Dy.EOs in case of High Schools by the school Head Masters.
Results may be declared on 22 nd April, 2015 by convening a meeting with parents and SMC
members in the school premises and Progress Cards (Cumulative Records) shall be issued to the
children. The children obtain signature on Cumulative Records and return back Cumulative Records to
the concerned teachers/ HMs on 23rd April, 2015 i.e. last working day. The teachers must collect the
Cumulative Records/ Progress Cards from the students.
Programme for Primary Schools from 7th to 23rd April, 2015

Reading library books and children literature and reflection on oral and written.

Remedial teaching for the children who are backward in reading, writing and arithmetic. In this
case, children may be asked to tell names of the different articles, words, small stories and
teacher must write this on the blackboard and make all the children to read and write the
words and texts written on the blackboard.

Story telling by the children and whole class writing of these stories and correction by the
teachers. Writing one story written by the student on the blackboard and editing on the
blackboard and re-writing by all students the same story.

Word building activity using ‘Varnamala Chart’ and ‘Guninthala Chart’.

In case of English, speaking based on the picture and illustrations/ articles.

Dictation of words and paras both in English and Telugu for half an hour.

Practice the simple arithmetic operations i.e. addition, subtraction and multiplication and
simple word problems.

Practicing the 1 to 10 tables and writing.

Indoor games, storytelling sessions, drawing, singing, group singing etc.

Moral and ethics- Stories, incidents and discussion in the class on the characters and morals.
Upper Primary and High Schools from 9th to 23rd April, 2015

Teacher handbooks on co-curricular activities have been provided to all the high schools under
RMSA. The items from these Handbooks in the areas of Health & Physical Education, Art &
Cultural Education, Value Education & Life Skills, Work& Computer Education must be
transacted and discussed. Children may be asked to read the lesson by lesson and whole class
discussion may be organized. Students may be asked to demonstrate art and cultural activities
based on the Handbooks provided.

Indoor games, storytelling sessions, drawing, singing, group singing etc.

Moral and ethics- Stories, incidents and discussion in the class on the characters and morals.

In case of students who are unable to read and write, a remedial programme may be conducted
@1 hour for language and one hour for Mathematics and following activities may be organized
under remedial education.



The DyIOs and Dy.EOs are requested to take immediate necessary action and inform all
the schools about the exam schedule and as well as post exam activities in all Primary,
Upper Primary and High Schools up to 23rd April, 2015.
