THE PERINTON REPUBLICAN COMMITTEE’S 2015 “SPRING BRUNCH CELEBRATION”. . . . IS ON!! FAQ’s about the 5th Annual PRC Spring Brunch Celebration • When is the Spring Brunch being held? It will take place on Saturday, May 2nd from 11am-2pm. • Where is the Spring Brunch being held? At beautiful Casa Larga Vineyards which overlooks our home town. What a site/sight! • What’s the “celebration” about? Spring has just sprung! It’s a great excuse to celebrate warmer weather, have a great meal with family and friends, and chat with our candidates (remember, it's an election year) and Town officials. • Do I have to dress up in a suit and tie? Those of you who wish to do so, feel free. We do ask for “business casual” attire as blue jeans and buffalo plaid probably won’t be appropriate. • Can I bring the kids? Absolutely! This event has turned into quite a nice family affair with Mom’s, Dad’s, Aunt’s, Uncle’s, and Grandparents in attendance. They’re all welcome. Just make sure everyone is accounted and paid for when you send in your registration slip. • Other than eating and mingling, what other activities are there? There is a Silent Auction with all manner of items available to bid on. We also have a 50/50 Raffle which will actually be a 50/25/25 Raffle. We like to spread the wealth. • Speaking of the Silent Auction . . . . As the contributions are received, check this website for updates on the items up for bid. Maybe you’ll get a jump on that “must have” product or service that you can’t live without. • Who’s organizing this event? Jen West (Perinton Town Clerk and 2015 candidate) and her husband Craig are the co-chairs. • Do they need help? Always! Isn’t that what a huge part of being a PRC member is all about? The Silent Auction items are a big part of this event. If you are willing to contribute an item, a service, or know of a merchant who would be willing to provide something, Jen's email address is jawest@rochester.rr.com. • Why a Saturday brunch and not Sunday? This is simple. Casa Larga is a great venue. Their Sundays are currently booked with a weekly church service. Of the Saturday dates we requested, May 2nd was the winner. • How much will it cost? The price of admission for the last two years hasn’t been a bank-breaker and will stay the same this year: $30/person and $275 for a table of 10. Register via mailed invitation or by Pay Pal on the website. • Will there be other activities in the area competing with our Spring Brunch? Yes. It’s a busy day in our community. We hope that you’ll find a way to work your schedules around our event. • Will there be more information available about the Spring Brunch? Absolutely! We’ll provide regular updates via this website. Check your PRC emails too. Invitations will be mailed by the 30th. They will also be available on this website. • So . . . again, when is the Spring Brunch? Saturday, May 2nd from 11am-2pm at Casa Larga Vineyards. Stay tuned and keep checking this website for more information.
