subject: Timings of Evening peak Load Hours Restrictions.
ln pursuance to PSERC order dated 30/03/2015 against petition
no.71t2014 and
PSPCL Commercial circular No. 1Sol1'4ffariffA/ot V Dated
31t0312015, it has been
decided that the time of day ( ToD) Tariff applicable to Large
suppty and MS Industrial
consumers up to 31.03.15 will not be applicable from 01
.04.201b to 31 .0s.2015 and
peak load exemption charges ( PLEC) will be charged
as approved by Hon,ble pSERC
in its Tariff Order for the F.y. 2013-14.
Moreover PSERC vide its said order has further decided
that peak load hours
will not be for more than 3 ( three) hours between 06:00 pm
to 10:00 pm depending on
seasons. Accordingly in partial modification of PR circular
No.g/2003 dated g.12.2003,
the timings of "Evening Peak Load Hours Restrictions" for all
the consumers on whom
peak load hour restrictions are applicable falling
under all the Operation Zones, shall be
as under which becomes effective from 1st of April 2015
till further orders:-

These, Peak Load Hours Restrictions shall be applicable on Large Supply
consumers only and the above changes may be got noted from all the concerned
consumers well in time. Further, the above timings may be permanently displayed at all
the complaint centers, Grid Sub Stations and Op. Sub Divisions/Divisions etc.
The violation of Peak Load Hours Restrictions shall invite penalty as per the
provisions of PR circular No. 07/99 dated 28.09.99 and 0212003 dated 25.04.2003. lt is
requested to ensure meticulous compliance of the said instructions.
It is further added that all the consumers who had opted for ToD tariff, the Peak
Load Exemption granted/applicable to them as on 30.09.2014 shall be deemed to be
extended from 01 .04.2015 onwards. However
if any consumer wishes to make any
increase/decrease in the exemption already granted, he may do so by applying afresh.
