Entry Information: $20.00 PER ATHLETE. REGISTRATION IS PRE-ENTRY ONLY. REGISTRATION WILL BE ONLINE ONLY at www.coacho.com starting April 12 th AAU registration number is necessary for online registration. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS 8PM Tuesday June 1st . You may make additions and corrections online until the 8PM deadline. Late Registration at an additional charge of $5 per athlete will be available on June 2nd thru June 3rd . No changes will be allowed after June 3rd h 10:00 PM deadline for late registrants . Divisions 1 - 5 are restricted to 3 events, including relays. Sub-Youth and Youth are restricted to 4 events, including relays. All entry fees are to be paid online at the end of registration via credit card (Visa, Master Card). All athletes must have proof of age (i.e. copy of birth certificate, passport or copy of AAU Membership Card with birth validation) at the Championship Meet. Multi-Events and Pole Vault will not be contested at this meet. **All uncontested events must be registered through online registration for Region Championships . THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS. Submit relays online. But, also list relay on individual entry (even if athlete is an alternate – it will count towards entry limit). All relay participants must be a registered athlete, registered in this meet. All alternates must be registered athletes, even though they may not have an individual event. An athlete may compete in more than one District Qualifier in his/her district or an adjoining district, he or she may register for the Region Qualifier only after they have finished competing in all said district competitions. All athletes are required to register for their respective Region Championship only. If an athlete competes in a District Qualifier outside of his/her area, they must compete in the National Qualifier for that area. AWARDS: Top (3) three athletes and relay teams will receive medals. Top (16) athletes and top (4) relays competing in this meet will qualify for the Region I Championships. X X All challenges to meet results must be initiated and resolved same day of meet. If you leave meet without a resolution; results will stand as posted. Only the Meet Director has the authority to authorize changes to meet results. (This does not pre-empt the protest rule, which is $50 to file). This pertains only to errors in posted time, place and mark. Protest applications may be picked up at the Press box. Judgment calls will not be considered for protest. X X NO changes to results will be made after District Qualifier weekend. Per AAU 2014 guidelines there is no additional Challenge period. The District Qualifier meet directors must resolve all issues at that District Qualifier. The Region Championship will not review nor resolve any District issues. Region 1 Qualifier entry requirements: For an athlete to advance to a Region Qualifier, he/she must finish in the top sixteen of an individual event at a District qualifier and receive a fair mark in each event he/she plans to compete in at the Region1 Junior Olympic Qualifier. Top four relays will qualify for the Region I Qualifier as long as they have a fair mark. Athletes may compete in more than one District qualifier; but will not be permitted to exceed the age-division entry limit at a National Qualifier. Unattached athletes and Teams may only enter the Area I National Qualifier. The Region 1Junior Olympic Qualifier will be held June 26th thru 28th at Wilbur Cross High School and Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven. Athletes who do not compete in a District Qualifying Meet will only be eligible to compete in the Pole Vault, Steeplechase and Multi-Events at the Region 1 Qualifier. Relay teams must be declared on the National Qualifier level. • REGISTRATION FOR THE AAU Region Championships will be online at www.coacho.com. Registration deadline is 8pm June 21 st . All entry fees are to be paid online at the end of registration via credit card (Visa, Master Card). The Region Championships will be held at Wilbur Cross High School and Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven Connecticut. Results for the District Qualifier will be posted on the internet at www.aauathletics.org and www.njaau.org . Coaches must register their teams, whereas unattached athletes may be registered by a parent or guardian. • Once an athlete registers in the On-line Registration system. He/she must remain with that team for the remainder of the Junior Olympic season. An athlete cannot be registered in the system Twice (.i.e.. with a club and as an unattached athlete). Packet Pick up: Sunday 8am at the track. This event is licensed by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U.S., Inc. All participants must have a current AAU membership. AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event. AAU Youth Athlete membership must be obtained before the competition begins. BE PREPARED! Adult and Non Athlete memberships are no longer instant and cannot be applied for at event. Please allow at least 10 days for membership to be processed.
