I am inviting you to help stop child abuse, one child at a time.
For over 17 years, ABC House has been the sole provider of child abuse assessment and
intervention services for Benton and Linn Counties—offering a place to begin the healing
process for children affected by the crises of abuse. Last year alone, ABC House provided
services to over 3,700 people in our community including abuse assessments and medical
consultations to over 570 children.
You can help with child abuse prevention and intervention in our community by choosing to
sponsor a table for our annual mission-focused fundraising event known as “Celebrate Hope”.
“Celebrate Hope” is a table-hosted dinner scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2015 during Child
Abuse Prevention month. This is the 6th Year of this table-hosted fundraising event that raises
money to provide help to children and families that have been impacted by some form of abuse
or neglect. Last year more than 400 local people attended and 48 businesses and professionals
were sponsors of this tremendously successful event.
The program is mission-focused and educational. The speakers are professionals who work in
the field of child abuse response and adults who have been personally impacted by child abuse.
As a table sponsor, you will help cover the cost of dinner for your table guests, so there will be no
cost to those you invite. 100% of the donations received that evening from attendees will be
used to help children in our community. Once event expenses are covered, any extra sponsorship
dollars will also help meet our goal.
Please review this Sponsorship Opportunities Proposal, select the highest level you can,
complete the form, and mail or fax a copy to ABC House as soon as possible. We would also
like your help developing a list of invitees. The deadline for payment of your sponsorship is not
until March 2, 2015. For planning purposes we would appreciate your early commitment.

Facts About ABC House










ABC House is the child abuse intervention center for Benton and Linn
Counties, providing high-quality child abuse assessments for local children
when there are concerns of abuse or neglect.
ABC House has served Benton and Linn Counties since 1997.
Clients are referred by DHS, Law Enforcement Agencies or physicians.
ABC House works closely with DHS, County mental Health, District
Attorneys, Juvenile Department, and Law Enforcement.
ABC House staff are experts in child abuse. Services provided include
medical examinations, forensic interviews, family advocacy, counseling
and community education.
ABC House provides child abuse assessment services to over 300 children
per year and medical consultations for an additional 270 children per year.
In 2013, ABC House provided on-site services to 434 children.
In 2013, 56% of children seen were girls and 44% boys. More than 50%
were under the age of 7.
ABC House is located in Albany, OR but children are brought to the center
from all over Benton and Linn Counties including rural communities.
