What will you be doing?
You will be learning and working in the most awesome work place imaginable. Our Information Technology team is the best
department in the whole Calgary Airport (but of course, we’re a little biased!) and the group of people you will be working with
are second to none. You will learn what we do to provide the best IT support possible to all our amazing users! This role will
provide exposure to a variety of behind the scenes technological operations throughout an airport environment.
What will your primary responsibilities be?





Work closely with our awesome Service Desk, Deskside, and Operational teams to provide IT support
Assist the IT Service Desk with service tickets – ticket creation and assignment, desk side assistance and hardware
peripheral deployment and moves
Create new documentation and verify existing processes and standards
Provide quality customer service in a diverse and challenging environment, while educating users, coordinating and
logging emails, managing multiple demands and following up with resolutions
Perform software installation, configuration and testing, hardware/software instruction to users and knowing when to
liaise with colleagues regarding problem/resolution issues as required
What will you bring to this role?







Strong oral and written communication skills as well as excellent customer service skills
Proficient with MS Office Suite, full Adobe Suite, Windows 7, and other standard software
Knowledge of networks, Active Directory, server technology and mobile devices including tablets is an asset
Knowledge and experience deploying computers including OS imaging, as well as configuring as per user requirements
– including printers and other peripherals
Personal commitment to accurate, complete, and organized data entry and record documentation
Ability to work within a team environment and provide independent theories and ideas
A well-developed sense of humor, and desire to have fun while you work!
Note: Students must be returning to school (post-secondary or high school) in the fall to qualify for this position.
