Hello, Families!
This is going to be a very interesting week. IDOE has changed
the format of the ISTEP test due to some server errors, and we
are still awaiting how this test is going to work in the coming
days or weeks. Please be flexible with us as we get it all sorted
out!
We had originally planned to have this week’s math test and
social studies test to be done as a group in class. Students will
have access to their textbook, classmates, and myself. The
math test will be done with me doing example problems on
the front board. We are going to keep this plan the same in
case the ISTEP tests are ready for this week.
To help both your child and myself through the rest of this
school year, please make sure your child is getting adequate
sleep and coming to school ready to go! I’m have to keep a
lot of heads up in the first 20 minutes of the morning! We’re
nearly done with the year, so let’s all push on through to the
end…these kids are so close to being middle schoolers! (Can
you believe it?!)
Enjoy your week!
