Box 636 Centerville, MA 02632 Thank you for volunteering to help Amazing Grace provide a camping opportunity for children living on the Cape and the South Shore whose parents are, or have been incarcerated. This week long residential summer camp experience at the YMCA’s Camp Burgess in Sandwich will be held Sunday, August 23rd to Friday, August 28th. All types of volunteers are needed before and during the camp to create a wonderful experience for the children. Please provide the information below to help us find the right volunteer opportunity for you. The camp will run from August 23-28. Volunteers working directly with the children will need training on maintaining a safe environment for the campers, mandatory pre-camp orientation on Sun. May 31st 2 pm – 6 pm, and working with the other members of the team. Protocol orientation to the camp is mandatory for all on-site volunteers and will be on Sunday, August 23rd. We also need volunteers for planning, development, and set-up before camp. Please complete the information on the attached forms to allow Amazing Grace of Cape Cod, Inc. to conduct the check with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The CORI form must be signed in the presence of an Amazing Grace agent to verify the acknowledgement.
