Heatable water bowls: How do they work?
• The heating of drinking water by a water bowl is rather easy! You only need at least one heatable water bowl, a thermostat and a transformer
(running on 24 volts).
• What kind of transformer is sufficient for how many bowls? That’s easy! If you only want to operate one water bowl with 50 watt output, a 50
VA transformer is enough. If you want to connect an additional 24 volts heating cable, you only have to add the power consumption (= wattage)
of the cable and you get the necessary minimum output of the transformer. Be generous in calculating the transformer output in order to leave
optional room for extensions.
ATTENTION: Connection only by a qualifiedelectrician!
