INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF DIGITAL CREATIVITY AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC 16TH EDITION MAY 27 - 31, 2015 FINAL PIECES FOR THE 16TH EDITION OF MUTEK HAVE FALLEN INTO PLACE Free programming revealed, including the outdoor stage in the Quartier des spectacles and daytime activities at the Phi Centre Montréal—April 28, 2015: Emphasizing and celebrating real time, live expressions of original creations that traverse the realms of music, sound and visual art, the final pieces for the 16th edition of MUTEK have fallen into place! With more than 80 live performances from 110 artists, the festival boasts 9 world, 11 North American and 16 Canadian premieres running from Wednesday, May 27 to Sunday, May 31, all happening in the beating heart of the city. In its constant efforts to make electronic and digital artistry accessible and to create the context for discovery and revelation, MUTEK is proud to reveal the details of its free outdoor stage EXPÉRIENCE, which this year will occupy the Parterre in the Quartier des spectacles, the nighttime experimental PLAY programs at the MAC, and its daytime program DIGI_SECTION, at the Phi Centre.
