Miss Andi is our Business Manager and we encourage you to direct all inquiries and questions to her. If
you have questions about tuition, classes, dance wear etc she is the person to ask. Please call her at the
studio at 419 222-7223 or see her when you come to dance class.
TUITION REMINDER
 Any and all payments made to the studio the month of May must be in the form of
cash or credit/debit cards. NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
 All tuition must be paid in full for your child to participate in the dance Recital.
S.T.A.R Parents
The BEST Parents around! They have fundraisers and events throughout the year that ANY student of
ASA can be a part of!! You can be a dancer in ANY class at ASA, not just the competition team, to use
these fundraisers and attend events. Stay tuned to the S.T.A.R Parent Board located in the lobby!
PICTURE DAY
Picture day is April 19th and 26th for Competition Team. Weather permitting competition pictures will be
taken at Avalon Studio on Spencerville Rd. Please refer to your Competition Team Weekly Memo for
line ups and other details.
RECITAL AND REHEARSAL
Recital Rehearsal is Wednesday May 13th and Recital is May 16th both held at Wapakoneta High School
in the Performing Art Center. A packet containing rehearsal information, recital information, recital
ticket sales, scholarship information, recreational class for summer and fall registration, fall open
house information and Recital T-shirt order form was handed out the week of April 6th during
your child’s dance class. Please make sure to read over the entire packet as it will contain a lot of
helpful information.
RECREATIONAL REGISTRATION
It’s that time of year for you to start thinking about what classes you want for next year. That’s right;
Recreational Registration will be released Monday April 20th! We are excited to have some new
classes offered next year. We will have the schedule set and you get to choose your class day and
time as soon as registration comes out! As always we encourage you register as early as possible
because each year we have several classes closed out BEFORE Recital. If you have questions
about classes please see Miss Andi.
PARKING
We do not allow students to sit outside to wait for pick up. For the safety of all students, please park and
come inside to retrieve your student!
 Please park out in front of the building.
 PLEASE DO NOT PARK in any space near the building, as these spaces are for our
instructors only and Rent A Center customers.
 Please do not park or wait for your student in the handicap parking space as we have patrons who
need to use it.
WE HAVE BOTTLED WATER
We have bottled water for $1.00, just ask Miss Andi. Cash only please.
NEW EFT’S – Electronic Funds Transfer means never having a late tuition payment
We do all the work for you! If you had EFT from last season, you will need to fill out a new EFT form or
if you would like to start using EFT, please see Miss Andi. Once you supply us with your information we
are able to withdraw your tuition payment out of your bank account on the first of the month.
NOTIFY US IF YOUR DANCER IS ABSENT
If your student is going to be absent for any reason, we ask that you call the studio at 419 222-7223 and
either speak with the desk manager or leave a message. Please do not leave messages on our social media,
text or email. Please call the studio, thank you.
TUITION POLICY - WE HAVE A VERY STRICT TUITION POLICY
Tuition being paid on time is imperative for our studio to operate properly.
 We accept cash, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) or check. We
also offer EFT for any payments made to the studio, please see Miss Andi for details.
 ALL TUITION IS TO BE PAID ON OR BY THE FIRST (1ST) OF EACH MONTH! Please mail
your tuition payment to the studio if an absence occurs – postmarked by the 10th. Tuition is prorated over a 9 month period. Therefore, monthly payments remain the same each month and must
be paid on the first of each month regardless of but not limited to illness, vacations or short
months. Please make checks out to A Step Above or ASA and place in the tuition drop box
located by the desk.
 If tuition is paid after the 10th of the month, there is a $10.00 late fee applied.
 We do not accept post-dated or starter checks and we will not hold checks.
 If paying by cash please have correct amount or a credit can be applied to your account.
 When paying other fees such as shoes, costumes, etc, if tuition has not been paid for, any
available credit will go towards tuition first then towards your purchase and orders will not be
placed.
 There is a $25.00 returned check fee.
 If your check is returned any payment after that will only be accepted in the form of cash or
credit card.
 NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES on any payments made to the studio including full year tuition
payments.
 We do not tolerate poor behavior/attitude towards late fees assessed and it can result in dismissal
from the studio. We also do not allow late fees to be waived because it is your first time being
late, please do not ask.

We do not place cancellations on the studio phone. All cancellations will be posted by 2pm, if we are not
cancelled; classes are on a regular schedule. The cancellation may be as late as 2pm due to the fact that
the weather changes very quickly and could be clear enough for classes to take place. Also, if schools are
cancelled please do not think that we automatically cancel too, please check before coming to your class.
