DISCUSSED: Receipt of Insurance Claim check received for Electrical and Plumbing expenses at the Manse; Pastor Nominating Committee progress; request for approving a new church sign – no action taken at this time; Presbyterian Women to consider options to shorten length of Members of the Diaconate acknowledging their responsibility of “…sharing in the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, the oppressed, those burdened by unjust policies or structures, or anyone in distress.” (G6.0201, Book of Order) invite you to inform them of people who because of physical and/or financial limitations...cannot do their own yard or housework; need transportation to and from the doctor’s office and/or the grocery store; need food and/or clothing. The deacon who is head usher in a given month will act as the contact person for the Board of Deacons. Outreach Food Pantry Food bags are distributed on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. We greatly appreciate the generosity of our congregation in supporting this Program. There is a collection basket in the Narthex. We thank everyone that has provided the committee with input from the two lunch meetings after the Worship Services and one on one conversations. The PNC values your input as we look for the next Minister for Barbecue Presbyterian Church.
