Project: Point-of-care testing device for schizophrenia antipsychotic drug monitoring (Grant MII: $250k as a Co-PI; Grant NIH $1.252MM). Key Accomplishments: Translated an engineered system-level solution from concept to product through needs identification, technology development, regulatory requirements evaluation, commercialization pathway establishment, and fundraising. Developed the mechanism, material, and fabrication process of an array of differential electrochemical micro-sensors. Integrated sensing technology with electronic and mechanical systems into a molecular monitoring platform. Initiated a multi-institute research of micro-systems development for brain health management. Key Responsibilities and Contributions: Owned, managed, and secured grants for a multi-disciplinary project of 3 research teams from micro-systems, biomaterials, and medicine (Total of $1.502MM).
