How to: Submitting a Medical Screening through HealthLine
1. Go to the HealthLine Clearance

2. Click on the Register link in the sign in box
3. Register with your Job Code, provided by your HR department or line manager, along with
your email address username and password of your choice
4. You will receive an email with a link – click this to activate your account and go to the login
page

5. Please sign in and submit your general details
6. Click continue to submit information about your dependants (if applicable – only the
employee will be required to do this)
7. If you have dependants who will be travelling with you, you will be asked to provide some
basic information on each of them
8. Click continue to submit posting dates and work related travel plans
9. If you are the employee, you will be asked to complete an occupational health section
10. Then you will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire

11. If the form does not submit, then a question has not been completed or details have not
been provided in the text box. This will be highlighted in red
12. Once the form is complete, you will be asked to tick a declaration
13. Once your screening has been submitted, you will see a confirmation page confirming your
submission and advising that you will be contacted within 72 hours
14. If you have listed dependants who will be travelling with you, click the New Clearance to go
back in and submit further medical screenings for these individuals.

Additional Notes:
Questionnaires can be saved for up to 7 days before they will automatically be deleted from
your profile

Screenings which have been inactive for over 45 minutes will time out and information will
not be saved

Ensure you select the correct option from the Staff/Dependant list as this will determine the
questions that you will need to answer

Dependants only need to be listed on your questionnaire if they will be joining you at post at
any time

If dependants are accompanying you, separate questionnaires must be submitted for each
individual

If you are submitting screenings for your dependants, this can be done using the same login
details, and submitting a new questionnaire for each person

If you do not see the ‘Screening Submitted’ page at the end, your screening has not been
submitted successfully – log back in to check if this has been saved
