This year we will have some storage space available ahead of time so if you have something that must go soon let the Yard Sale Committee know! FROM GEORGE MILLER, FOUNDATION COMMITTEE: We are engaged in the annual spring fund drive for the Local Foundation. The Local Foundation is how we the members of the Blacksburg Rotary Club pool our resources to make a positive difference in our local community and the world at large. The Local Foundation has financially supported a broad range of worthy projects, from college scholarships for Montgomery County students to emergency shelter for disaster survivors. All told, the Local Foundation has contributed $23,100 in the last year to support the goals and objectives of the club and its members. The Club requests that you support the Local Foundation by becoming a “Contributor” with a $100 tax deductible donation.
