Temporary Traffic Notice Glorious Goodwood

WEST SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL
(EAST DEAN, SINGLETON & WESTHAMPNETT: GLORIOUS GOODWOOD)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2015
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than seven days from the date of this notice, West
Sussex County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from travelling along Racecourse Road
between Kennel Hill and East Dean Hill.
This Order is necessary to ensure pedestrian safety during Glorious Goodwood and the
Goodwood Evening Race meetings.
The Order will be operative:(i) From 1900 hours on 5 June 2015 until 0100 hours on 6 June 2015; and
(ii) From 1900 hours on 12 June 2015 until 0100 hours on 13 June 2015; and
(iii) From 1900 hours on 19 June 2015 until 0100 hours on 20 June 2015; and
(iv) Between 1630 hours and 2200 hours on 28 July 2015; and
(v) Between 1630 hours and 2200 hours on 29 July 2015; and
(vi) Between 1630 hours and 2200 hours on 30 July 2015; and
(vii) Between 1630 hours and 2200 hours on 31 July 2015; and
(viii) Between 1630 hours and 2200 hours on 1 August 2015
