Burbage Parish Council Bowling Green is situated off Bridge Road
adjacent to the public tennis court and car park.
All residents wishing to play bowls are required to be Parish Council
season ticket holders in addition to any club membership which may
be held.
The green, club house and changing facilities are managed by Burbage
Parish Council. Two active bowling clubs, Burgess Bowls Club and
Burbage Crusaders Bowling Club use the site as their home ground
and arrange training sessions and social events as well as their match
fixtures.
The bowling season begins in April each year and ends towards the
end of September. During this time the green is open 7 days a week
from 2.00 - 9.00pm. Access to the green and car park is via a key entry
system and individually identified keys are available to all season ticket
holders.
