1. Make a gorgeous Scrap book and give a suitable title to it. Your Scrap
book should contain the following contents.
a) Amazing facts
b) interesting news clippings from newspapers
c) Achievements or success stories of unsung heroes or any great
Personalities. Paste the pictures.(Can be a person known to you)
d) Know your English (puzzles, riddles, idioms, proverbs etc.)
e) Read storybooks or biographies. Sketch out the character or the famous
personality in 20 sentences. Draw or stick the related pictures.
( Ex. Adventures of Tom Sawyer – Character sketch of Tom Sawyer /
Biography of A.P. J .Abdul Kalam - his character sketch.)
f) Sports – Write about your favourite game/ sport.
2. Practice good handwriting by writing 5 sentences per day.
3. Make a booklet of SYNONYMS &ANTONYMS
Select any 10 words. Refer a thesaurus to find the synonyms.
Select the words that can be used as antonyms by using the prefixes
(un, im, in, ir, il, non, dis ) Write them down in your mini booklet.
4. Write a short story of your own in 300 words. Draw or paste the pictures
accordingly. (in A4 size papers)

3. Make an innovative working Model for the topic Conservation of Natural
resources which would be selected and exhibited /displayed for science
exhibition.(compulsory)
Social Science
During this vacation visit any ‘Heritage Site’ or a ‘place’ of Historical importance
and give a write-up in an A4 size paper with a picture.
