What is the cost of the program?
Student Cost – Early Bird Registration (valid until May 22, 2015) – $495.00*
Regular Registration – $575.00*
Non-Student Cost – Early Bird Registration (valid until May 22, 2015) – $795.00
Regular Registration – $850.00
*Student Verification includes: Student Identification, School Enrollment Verification, or Class Schedule.
What is the deadline to register for the Certificate Program?
The deadline to register is June 19, 2015. Early Bird registration ends on May 22, 2015.
Does the cost of tuition include travel, food, and lodging?
Refreshments and lunch will be provided. You are responsible for all of your own travel and lodging.
What lodging accommodations are available?
There are several hotel options available. You are responsible for booking your hotel accommodations.

No, there are no books that are required. The materials used are developed by instructors and provided to you in
class.
How long does it take to complete the program?
Five days.

What days and time are the classes?
Class will be held from Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 10, 2015 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Classes include: California Indian History, Tribal Leadership, Tribal Sovereignty and Sovereign Immunity, Federal
Indian Law, Tribal Council Responsibilities, Robert’s Rules of Order, Management of Tribal Operations and
Departments, Cultural Resources Preservation and Protection, Indian Child Welfare Act, Intergovernmental
Relationships, Indian Gaming, and more.
Who will be teaching the classes?
We have tailored each class to include experienced community members and experts of the field to instruct and
lead the classes. Tribal elders, Tribal leaders, Tribal professionals, Federal Indian Law attorneys, and respected
community members are providing their knowledge and expertise to this Certificate Program.
Are there any pre-requisites to take the Certificate Program?
There are no pre-requisites or educational requirements to attend this Certificate Program.
Is this an accredited Certificate Program?
No. This Certificate Program in unaccredited and does not offer college credits or continuing education units.
What is the late registration policy?
We will accept on-site registration if the Program is not full, but please register beforehand to guarantee a space
in the Certificate Program.
Where will classes be held?
Classes will be held in the Tribal Government Office of Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.

Will we be provided with directions to class sites?
Yes. Directions will be provided to you in your welcome packet.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund up to seven (7) before the start of the Program. If you
choose to cancel your registration less than one week prior, the California Tribal College will give you a credit to
use for future certificate programs.
