Release
I understand that Canadian Feed The Children’s logo and name are registered trademarks. Prior
to publicizing or holding an event, a member of Canadian Feed The Children’s staff must approve
this proposal and use of name or logo. By publicly naming Canadian Feed The Children as the
beneficiary of my event, I agree to donate the full amount of the net proceeds or amount otherwise
agreed upon within 30 days following the event.
Canadian Feed The Children Release, Waiver and Indemnity Form: In consideration of the
acceptance of my registration, and permission to participate, I, for myself, my heirs, executors,
administrators, successors and assigns to hereby remise, release and forever discharge, waiver
and save harmless, protect and keep indemnified Canadian Feed The Children and all its directors,
officers, employees, servants, agents and representatives, and all other organizations, sponsors,
representatives, their agents and their expenses, and demands, in respect of death, injury, loss or
damage to my person or property related to or in any way connected with my being permitted to
participate in this event, whether as a spectator or participant, no matter how or by whom such
loss, damage or injury may have been caused and notwithstanding that such can be caused or
contributed by the negligence of the aforesaid. I acknowledge further that I am physically fit to
participate in my event, and that any equipment I use is technically fit and suitable for its intended
use in regard to my event.
It is understood that the person receiving the release does so on behalf of each and every person
and class of person so released and that the said permission is given to and shall be deemed to
have been given by each such person and class of persons as consideration for my release.

Terms for Third Party Event
Third Party Events are special fundraising events which are planned, implemented and financed
by individuals or organizations outside of Canadian Feed The Children. All financial and human
resources to support the event come from outside Canadian Feed The Children.
It is understood by the event organizer(s) that:

The event described in this proposal is planned, implemented and financed by individuals or
organizations outside of Canadian Feed The Children.

Canadian Feed The Children’s role is to lend its name and accept the net proceeds when the event
is completed. Canadian Feed The Children will NOT be responsible for any legal or financial
liability howsoever caused before, during or after this event.

The Canadian Feed The Children logo is a registered trademark. In order to ensure that Canadian
Feed The Children’s name and logo are used correctly we request that all promotion and publicly
disseminated materials be approved by Canadian Feed The Children in advance of printing.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has strict rules and regulations regarding the issuance of tax
receipts. It is imperative that any matters pertaining to receipting are handled efficiently,
appropriately and most importantly, legally. If a tax receipt is requested by a donor, please contact
Canadian Feed The Children and do not make a commitment to the donor regarding a receipt.

This agreement is valid only upon approval by Canadian Feed The Children.

Canadian Feed The Children reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time, should the
activities of the event organizer(s) undermine Canadian Feed The Children’s mission and values.

Canadian Feed The Children will try to accommodate all requests for materials, representatives
and speakers, but please note this may not always be possible.
