Show Hall: Ella T. Grasso Technical High School, 189 Fort Hill Road, Groton, CT 06340. This show hall is off Exit 88 of I95. From the North, turn right on RT 117. From the South, turn left on RT 117.At third light, you will see the school entrance to your right. Turn right into the entrance and continue up the hill to the school. Show Hotel #1: Motel 6, New London-Niantic, 269 Flanders Road, (I-95 At Flanders Road), Exit #74, Niantic, CT 06357 Phone: (806) 739-6991. A block of 36 rooms has been reserved starting at the rate of $53.99/Single. Rate expires 5/5/2015. Show Hotel #2: Quality Inn Old Saybrook, 100 Essex Road, Old Saybrook, CT 06475. Phone: (860) 395-1414. 30 Rooms - 2 Double Beds $109 $ 5 Rooms with 2 King Beds/$119. Rate expires 5/1/2015. Show Hotel #3: Clarion/Mystic $119.00 a night. Cats have to be contained when alone. 30 rooms various sizes. Rate expires 4/24/2015. All rooms reserved for “Cats Ahoy Cat Club”. Guests must call in and make their individual reservations by the dates indicated above! Fly into: T. F. Green Airport (PVD), 2000 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. Directions will be included with your confirmation. The airport is 48 miles to the Show Hotel. You may also fly into Bradley International Airport (BDL), Schoephoester Road, Windsor Locks, CT (North of Hartford, CT) 06096. BDL is 63 miles to the Show Hotel. Check-In and Show Hours: Check-in will be 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, and 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. Late arrivals must check in with the Master Clerk and each Ring Clerk to ensure that their entries are marked present. The show will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, AND 8:30 a.m. on Sunday! Show hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. No cat may leave the show hall before the advertised show hours without permission from the show management. Show Services: The club will provide cages and litter. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food, cat food and water dishes, and cage curtains. Back, tops and sides of cages must be covered. Cages are approximately 22” x 22” x 23” - single; 22” x 22” x 45” – double. Each entry is provided with a single cage. Cats MAY NOT be left in the show hall overnight. No vending of any kind is allowed from the benching area. People food will be available Exhibitors wishing end of aisle – Please be aware that you may not place your grooming tables, coolers, etc. at the end of aisle due to traffic flow. Clerks & Stewards: Please mark your summary sheet or email us if you are interested in clerking or stewarding. Clerks will receive $35.00 per day and stewards will be paid $20.00 per day. Free lunch will also be provided to our clerks and stewards. Fees will be paid at the close of the show on Sunday. Please do not deduct clerking fees from your entry fee. Show Rules: By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by all TICA show rules, and the decisions of the Judges and Show Committee. Show rules are available from TICA, P.O. If you need help setting up a TOES account, our entry clerk can assist you. Once you enter your cats, all related fees must be paid in a timely manner. As per the TICA rules, Cats Ahoy Cat Club will not issue any refunds if you or any of the cats entered in our show are not able to attend. There is a $10 per cat substitution fee. A fee of $50.00 will be charged on all checks returned for any reason. Any entry monies owed to Cats Ahoy at time of check-in must be paid in cash or money order and will include an additional fee of $25.00. The only exception to this rule will be on late entries. CASH ONLY payments will be accepted at check-in. All fees are in USD. Registration: To compete, cats (except ANB, PNB and NT classes) do not have to be registered with TICA. All cats in Preliminary and Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, must be registered. No points won may be claimed without TICA Registration. To register your cats(s) call the TICA Executive Office at (956) 428-8046. Household Pets: All HHP adults must be altered. Proof of spay/neuter may be requested. HHP adults and kittens must be registered with TICA in order to claim titles, Regional and International awards. If you are unsure of your cat’s color or division, please provide a detailed description. Health Requirements: This is a Non-Vetted show. All cats and kittens entering the show should be inoculated against panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis and calici virus and tested for feline leukemia. Connecticut law requires cats to have a current rabies vaccination. Claws on all four feet must be clipped. Any cat showing signs of illness, ear mites, fleas or fungus will be removed from the show hall together with all other cats from the same household. Cats for Sale: Sale cages are double cages and may be available if there is sufficient space, for an additional $50. Kittens must be at least 3 calendar months old; proof of age is required. Sale cages are available to exhibitors only. No Kittens or Cats may be confined to carriers during the show. Any person disregarding this rule will be asked to leave. No “for sale” cages are allowed in the vendor areas. Catalog Advertising: Black & white, camera-ready copy must be provided by May 1, 2015. Prices are listed on the summary sheet. Liability: By entering this show, the exhibitor named on the entry form and summary sheet hold Cats Ahoy Cat Club, TICA, the Ella T. Grasso Technical High School and the Motel 6 - New London-Niantic harmless from any damages, injury, claim, or theft as a result of any action/conduct related to the show.
