4th. Annual CCFCC/Saputo Junior Culinary Exchange: Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Juniors, this is your chance to experience the Diverse culinary scene in Saskatchewan. The exchange
takes place from August 7 - 22, 2015. Featuring active preparation of food at special events; working a
food truck; tours of cattle ranches in Moose Jaw; Farm Care programs of various crops; RCMP Barrack's
kitchens and reception; lunches and dinners in many fine restaurants; Saskatoon trout farms; go fishing
on northern lakes with campsite fish fry; winery and brewery visits, etc. etc.
This opportunity is for all CCFCC Junior Members and rewards four deserving young chefs with an
experience of a lifetime. All costs associated with travel, accommodations, food and events are
provided by the CCFCC and sponsoring authorities.
Submission Requirements:














Please create a 2 minute video submission detailing:
Yourself – where you are from, some of your past culinary experiences
Why you want to participate in this exchange
Why you are a suitable candidate to represent your branch and province
How the exchange will relate to your career and/or academic goals
Recipes for a three-course menu:
Appetizer must include a Saputo Cheese
Main Course must include a Saputo Cheese & Dairy Product
Dessert must include a Saputo Dairy Product
Please include a photo of at least one dish
Resume
Two letters of recommendation from an adult mentor, coach or instructor familiar with your
work and abilities
One letter from your current employer (if applicable) confirming your ability to secure time off
for the 14 day exchange and confirming that your position is guaranteed upon your return

Submitting Applications:
In the interest of fairness, no emails, scanned copies or faxes will be accepted – application will be
accepted by regular Canada Post mail only. Make provisions for shipping time (min. 1 week).
Applications will be accepted by the selection committee on a first come, first serve basis with a final
dead-line of receipt of May 15, 2015. That is maximum the received date, NOT the post mark date.
The selection committee will announce the winning candidates on Friday, May 22, 2015 followed by a
public announcement on the CCFCC National website by Monday, May 25, 2015.
