TECHNICAL INFORMATION SHEET MATERIA ROMANA FINITURA INFORMATION ON USAGE Name MATERIA ROMANA FINITURA Description Semi-covering finish. Suitable to protect surfaces created with Materia Romana plaster and exalt the chromatic streaking and grains typical of the “Roman travertine” effect Professional use. UNI 8681 classification One-pack, physical drying, acrylic, matt paint finishing coat, dispersed in water (B4.C.O.A.2.FA) Intended use Indoors / Outdoors Suitable substrates Concrete plaster, lime-based paint and plaster, painted plaster, exposed reinforced concrete, precast concrete panels and elements, fibre cement and brick CHARACTERISTICS Composition/appearance Physical state: liquid Type of resin/binder: acrylic (UNI 8681: FA) Appearance:matt finish Dimensional properties Bulk volume: 1310 ± 50 g/l Performance characteristics Solids content by weight: 61 ± 2% pH: 8.,5 – 9 Colours available Base white semi-covering and Materia Romana Colour Card. It can be coloured by tintometer. APPLICATION Environmental conditions Ambient temperature: min +10°C, max +40°C Relative ambient humidity: max 80% Equipment Brush (Klimt Brush), short-haired wool roller (Magritte Roller) Dilution Diluent type: water Dilution: first coat 25-30% = 250–300 ml per litre of product second coat (when the finish is coloured) 30-50% = 300-500 ml per litre of product Application procedure For a white finish apply one coat of MATERIA ROMANA FINITURA MA00 (white semi-covering) over the entire surface. For coloured finishes apply one coat of MATERIA ROMANA FINITURA MA00 (white semicovering) trying not to enter the grains. Apply a second coat in the desired dye waiting 4 hours between coats over the entire surface and then removing the excess with a sponge Drying or curing time at ≈ 23°C On surfaces: 4 hours Coverage (with two coats) 7-8 m2/l Recommended use per m2: 140 ml Coverage per package (5 l): 35-40 m2 approx.
