TECHNICAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PRODUCTIVE GARMENTS
FYRPRO® Series
FYRPRO® series fireman garments are manufactured as per EN 469:2005 standard and certified as per 89/686/
EEC - PPE as a requirement of European Regulations.
What is the meaning of X, Y, Z and Level 1, Level 2 Protection Levels?
Two different performance levels are described in EN 469:2005 standard; level 1 and level 2. Level 2 garments
provide higher protection than level 1 garments. Garments should be marked according to their performance
levels. For example X2, Y2, Z2 indicates level 2 garment or X2, Y2, Z1 indicates level 1 garment.
X defines the heat transfer level for flame and radiation.
Y defines the water penetration level.
Z defines water vapor resistance level.
Following table shows related test methods and requirements for level 1 and level 2.

FYRAL® Series
FYRAL® Series garments are professional technical garment that are need to be used by trained individuals.
They are used in different fire fighting techniques other than special designed FYRPRO® series. Employee
must decide which firefighting garment should be used after the risk analysis in case of fire.
FYRAL® series garments are manufactured as per EN 1486:2007 and certified as per 89/686/EEC – PPE.
FYRAL® series garments which have this standard are used with self contained breathing apparatus and aims
the protection of the user from the heat stress by reflecting radiant heat.
For this reason, special aluminized fabric is used in the outer layer which has pre property of reflecting the
radiant heat.
Garments are formed with 3 or 4 main layers. Moisture Barrier can be added according to area of use.
• Outer layer (Fire resistant fabric which is resistant against heat and mechanical effects, water repellent)
• Heat Barrier (double or single layered , generally non-woven fire resistant layer)
• Inner Liner (quilted on heat barrier, low weight fire resistant fabric)
FYRTEX® Series
Our company has also been developing Industrial Heat and Flame Protection Garments which are widely
used in Industry. These garments are generally produced under the brandname of FYRTEX® in the conformity
of European standards such as EN ISO 11612, EN 1149-5 (EN 1149-3 & EN 1149-1).
Garments certified against EN 11612 standard, are categorized according to below performance levels.
A: EN ISO 15025 - Limited flame spread (from 1 to 2)
B: ISO 9151 - Convective heat (from 1 to 3)
C: EN ISO 6942 - Radiant heat (from 1 to 4)
D: ISO 9185 - Molten Aluminium splash (from 1 to 3)
E: ISO 9185 - Molten Iron splash (from 1 to 3)
F: ISO 12127 - Contact heat (from 1 to 3)
Some of them are specialized for using against particular dangers e.g. Electrical arc Protection (EN 61482-1-2
& EN ISO 11612) , Molten Metal Splash Protection, Wildland Fires, antiflash hoods.
Electric arc garments certified against EN 61482 standard, are categorized Class 1 (tested against 4 kA) and
Class 2 (tested against 7 kA) . Class 2 is the highest level that can be reached in order to enable protection
against electric arc.
All of our products in our protective clothing division have been certified as per related harmonized standards,
CE marked and certified in accordance with 89 / 686 EEC PPE Directive.

HEATPRO ® VORTEX AIR COOLED FURNACE garment offers consistent and continuous cooling of the garment to minimize heat stress
on workers .
It provides air conditioning inside the garment that includes a vortex tube which converts compressed air into cold air stream. The
cold air circulates through the cappilary tube net placed between the layers of the garment. HEATPRO® garment increases worker
productivity in hot surroundings.
Have many advantages!
Vortex tube has the following advantages compared to the other refrigeration devices;
· simple, no moving parts,
· no need electricity or chemicals,
· small and light weight, low cost,
· maintenance free,
· instant cold air, durable,
· temperature adjustable.
Working principle of Vortex tube: Input pressured air first passes through a vortex generation chamber, which starts the air stream
rotating. The air stream at the chamber rotates as it is forced along the inner walls of the tube towards the control valve. Accelerated air
heats up as it spins along the inner walls of the tube . Compressed hot air is allowed to escape adjusting by control valve.
The remaining air is forced to return back through the center of the incoming air stream at a slower speed. The slower vortex gives up
energy and becomes cool . The cooled return air flows through the center of the vortex generation chamber and exits through the cold
air outlet .
Applications: Foundry, boiler house, steel production, glass production industries, cement production industries, forging industries
smelters, welding clothes, dyeing furnaces, mining furnaces, cleaning for harmful materials
