Media Credentials Request & Guidelines
Please complete the form on page two and return it with the requirements for your press category.
CPMA’s 90th Annual Convention and Trade Show will take place in
Montreal, Quebec, Canada on April 16 and 17, 2015.
Your media credentials will be confirmed via email. Your press kit and media pass will be available at the show’s
on-site registration desk. Please bring personal identification to collect your badges. This pass will allow you
access to the Trade Show floor, the business sessions, and any designated press areas. Please note access to
keynote speaker sessions, meal functions and social events is NOT included.
Please note that any interview with Chef Michael Smith must be scheduled in advance and will only be booked
between 10:00am-11:00am on Thursday April 16th.
We would be pleased to assist you in securing interviews leading up to the event and onsite.

APPROVED MEDIA CATEGORIES AND CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Each application will be reviewed and media credentials provided at the discretion of CPMA.
NOTE: By requesting a media pass to CPMA’s 90th Annual Convention and Trade Show, you confirm
participation in highlighted events and activities, as outlined in the media agenda provided and agree to
provide editorial coverage of the event – before, during and/or after the event.
EDITORIAL REPRESENTATIVES
Please provide at least one of the following:
 A business card with your name and title from an industry publication
 The masthead page of a current industry publication with your name listed
 A copy of a current by-lined article
FREELANCE WRITERS
Please provide at least one of the following:
 A letter from the editor of an industry trade publication or other recognized publication, on relevant
letterhead, stating your assignment is to cover CPMA’s 90th Annual Convention and Trade Show for that
publication or outlet
 Access (scan or link) to relevant, recently published pieces
VIDEOGRAPHER REPORTERS & NEWS MAGAZINE PRODUCERS FROM BROADCAST MEDIA
Please provide at least one of the following:
 A letter from the editor of an industry trade publication, on relevant letterhead, stating your assignment
is to cover CPMA’s 90th Annual Convention and Trade Show for that publication or outlet
 A business card with your name and title from a recognized broadcast media organization

FULL MEMBERSHIP STATUS.

Please note the following DO NOT qualify for media passes:
• Public Relations representatives
• Advertising Sales representatives
• Marketing representatives
• Freelance photographers/videographers
• Promotions representatives
• Editors/writers of in house newsletters; College/University publications and
Association newsletters.
