Letter from the Executive Director
Dear Creme Families,
Time to hop.. skip.. and jump into S*P*R*I*N*G! We are so excited for the
warmer weather, and all that this time of year has to offer. Your child
will be a busy bee working on the end of the year curriculum and
wrapping up another wonderful school year at Crème. There are
many upcoming events, so please be sure to stay up-to-date on
what’s going on here at Crème. We also have an exciting summer
curriculum that will ensure your child continues learning and
growing within our care. Additionally, we offer Summer Camp
for ages 5-12 so please see a Director if you would like more
information.

Father’s Day/Summer begins
of the Young Child that we will be celebrating in April. This is an annual celebration
sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young
Children (NAEYC). The reason we celebrate WOYC here at
Crème de la Crème is to focus and promote the needs of young
learners. It is a time to recognize that children’s opportunities are
our responsibilities, and to recommit ourselves to ensuring that each
and every child experiences the type of environment at home, at
child care, at school, and in the community that will promote their
early learning.

Team Member Spotlight
Takia Butts- Infant C Lead Teacher
We would like to take this opportunity to highlight an outstanding employee that
we are proud to have as a part of the Crème team. Ms. Takia has been with Crème
de la Crème since 1996. She is currently working in our Infant C classroom,
and is always here to greet our families in the morning. Takia loves working with
children and proves this each day with her glowing smile. She teaches her students
everything from sign language, to how to drink from a cup and even how to walk.
If you have not had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Takia, please stop by our infant
room to say hello!
