The 36 drivers that have qualified for the 2015 Calgary Stampede are the
best of the best from the two professional chuckwagon circuits in Canada.
Biographies and racing history for each of the drivers is provided below for
the consideration of interested companies.
In 2014, prices for canvases ranged from $45,000 to $170,000 per
chuckwagon with an average purchase price of $ 98,403.

Leader of the Calgary Stampede Equine
Outfit of Excellence. He won the Ponoka
Stampede and placed second in the WPCA standings. 2013 he made it into the
GMC Rangeland Derby’s “Semi Final Saturday”. He placed in the top ten 22
times on the WPCA Pro Tour and his horse “ACE” was named the Champion Left
Leader of the WPCA Equine Outfit of Excellence. Kurt was the 2012 Strathmore
Heritage Days Champion.
Rae Croteau Jr.

2015 will be Rae’s 15th consecutive year
racing at the Calgary Stampede GMC
Rangeland Derby. In 2014 he qualified
for the Championship Sunday Final Heat
of the GMC Rangeland Derby. His horse
“TOM” was named the Champion Outrider
Horse of the Calgary Stampede Equine Outfit of Excellence and “CHIP” was
named the Champion Left Wheeler of the WPCA’s Equine Outfit of Excellence.
He won top day money three times on the WPCA Pro Tour. In 2013 he placed in
the top ten 20 times, with two of them being top day money. He has won nine
major show championships. Rae is a third generation chuckwagon driver.

racing at Calgary. He is the 2014 Calgary
Stampede Aggregate Champion and Safety
Award Champion; he again qualified for
the Championship Sunday Final Heat
at the Calgary Stampede making for the
ninth time. He is also the 2014 Strathmore Heritage Days Stampede Champion.
In 2013 he was the GMC Rangeland Derby Champion and the Aggregate
Champion. His horse “TYCOON” was named the Champion Right Leader of
the Calgary Stampede Equine Outfit of Excellence. Jason won his fourth career
World Chuckwagon Championship in 2012.

his horse “BLAZER” was named the

in the aggregate standings at the Calgary
Stampede. On the CPCA Tour he was the
aggregate champion at the Onion Lake Show and won the Dash for Cash. In
2013 he won the championship at the Frog Lake, Dewberry and Lloydminster
shows. He is a two–time CPCA Champion Driver, a two–time CPCA High Point
Driver. Wayne has won twenty CPCA show championships over his career.

Rangeland Derby. In 2014 he made it into
“Semi-Final Saturday”. His horse “LAW”
was named the Champion Right Wheeler of
the Calgary Stampede and WPCA’s Equine
Outfit of Excellence. He was the Champion of the Guy Weadick Days and the
Bonnyville Chuckwagon Champion. In 2013 he was the World Champion
Chuckwagon Driver for the second time in his career, his horse “NICKLE”
was named Champion Left Leader of the CS Equine of Excellence and his
horse “SPIERMAN” was the Champion Right Leader of the WPCA Equine of

Pro Tour. In 2013 he was named the WPCA Chuckwagon Person of the Year,
and won top day money one night at the Ponoka Stampede. He is a two–time
Calgary Stampede GMC Rangeland Derby Champion and a two–time Calgary
Stampede Aggregate winner. He has had four horses named to the WPCA’s

ten days of Stampede. His horse “COLONEL” was named to the 2014 and 2013
Calgary Stampede’s Equine Outfit of Excellence. His horse “CHIEF” was named
Champion Right Leader of the WPCA Equine Outfit of Excellence in 2014. Kirk
is also the Bonnyville Chuckwagon Champion of 2013. He was the runner up of
the 2013 World Chuckwagon Championship.
Kelly Sutherland

In 2014 Kelly placed in the top ten aggregate
five times on the WPCA Pro Tour and was
tenth in the aggregate standings at the
Calgary Stampede GMC Rangeland Derby.
He won the 2013 Strathmore Heritage Days
Championship and his horse “SPITFIRE”
was named the Champion Right Wheeler
of the WPCA Equine Outfit of Excellence. In 2012 he was named the Calgary
Stampede’s prestigious Guy Weadick Award winner and won the North
American Chuckwagon Championship. He is a 12 time Calgary Stampede GMC

In 2014 Vern was crowned CPCA Champion
for the third straight year and fourth time
in his career. He placed in the top ten three
times over the 2014 GMC Rangeland Derby.
His horse “SNAKE” was named Champion
Right Wheeler of the CPCA Equine of
Excellence. In 2013 Vern was the CPCA Finals Dash Champion – finishing the
final standings at second overall. In 2012 he qualified for his second GMC
Rangeland Derby “Semi Final Saturday”. He has qualified for the winner–take–
all final heat for the CPCA Chuckwagon Championship six times. Vern is the
younger brother of fellow driver Shane Nolin and outrider Mick Nolin.

Roger Moore

over the reins for injured driver Tim

aggregate three times on the WPCA Pro Tour and his horse “ARIZONA” was
named the Champion Left Leader of the WPCA Equine Outfit of Excellence. In
2013 Roger won the WPCA Clean Drive Award and the Most Improved Driver
Award. Also in 2013 he won both the Ponoka Stampede and Colonial Days
Championships and finished fifth in the World Standings.

at the Grande Prairie Stampede. In 2012 Doug had his most successful Calgary
Stampede qualifying for his first GMC Rangeland Derby final four, finishing
second by a mere one one-hundredth of a second, this was the closest final four

2015 will be Dallas’ first time to race as
a driver at the Calgary Stampede GMC
Rangeland Derby. In 2014 he placed in
the top ten aggregate standings six times
on the CPCA circuit. He placed 8th in the
CPCA Year End Final Standings to achieve
his primary goal for 2014. In 2013 he had
the top time of the night on Day 1 at the Dewberry show. He stated outriding at
the age of 19 and then a few years later starting driving. Dallas and his wife Lexi
have two children, daughter Tia and son Wyatt.
Chad Fike

Birth Date: May 13, 1988
Residence: Cremona, Alberta
2015 will be Chad’s first Calgary Stampede
GMC Rangeland Derby as a driver. In 2014
he place tenth in the aggregate standings
at the Medicine Hat show and had 11 top
ten runs on the WPCA Pro Tour. Chad is
the 2014 Calgary Stampede Aggregate
Champion Outrider. In 2013 he became a
full time chuckwagon driver on the WPCA Pro Tour and placed in the top ten
six times over the season. He received the 2013 WPCA Top Rookie Driver Award.
Chad is a fourth generation chuckwagon driver and will be competing against
his older brother Jordie Fike at the 2015 Calgary Stampede GMC Rangeland
Derby.
Dave Galloway

Birth Date: September 2, 1978
Residence: Melfort, Saskatchewan

2015 will mark Dave’s first appearance in
the Calgary Stampede GMC Rangeland
Derby. In 2014 he placed in the aggregate
standings four times and in the top ten
14 times on the CPCA SIGA Pro Tour. In
2013 he finished 13th in the CPCA SIGA
Pro Tour Final standings and second
in the Safe Driver Standings after recording only one driving infraction all
season. His primary goal for 2014 was to make it to the 2015 Calgary Stampede
GMC Rangeland Derby and here he is. In the off-season Dave is an Oilfield
Consultant.

Seating is limited to the top two rows of Infield seating. These seats will be held until 8:30 pm nightly but, following that time,
unused seats will be released to the general public. When seats are not available, the pass also allows for standing room on the
Grandstand tarmac.

passes, barn hosting and other exclusive opportunities.

Access Packages which include gate admission, Grandstand/tarmac

Private Infield Suites - The theme is “up close” for proximity
to the action. You can hear the shouts of drivers and feel the
wind as the wagons head around the barrels. If you’re lucky you may even get a bit
of dirt in your teeth. Don’t be fooled - this is high-style hosting with private in-suite

Our most elegant venue, ranahans is located on the third level of the
Grandstand and houses three exclusive private dining areas. When
the action starts outside, guests move to covered seats within the
