Welcome
For each of the years that I have been President of RMRT I have worked hours to prepare a President’s message that fills half a page in each years playbill. My guess is that only a quarter of you read
that message in its entirety. This year I have decided to keep it very simple and therefore I have four
things to tell you.
1. We, the Board of Trustees and our Staff, work very hard 12 months of the year to bring you the
best in musical theatre.
2. We truly appreciate your support (in whatever form that may be) for without you this not-forprofit organization could not exist.
3. We are very glad that you joined us today, to sit amongst your friends, as part of our RMRT family.
RMRT
President
4. We hope you Enjoy the Show!
49 and counting.........
Judy K. Jensen - President RMRT
Our Mission
Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre’s mission is to stimulate, promote and develop interest in the performing arts in Grand
County, Colorado, and the surrounding region through live theatrical productions and youth theatre educational workshops.

are beginners, finishing up college and freshly embarking on what they
anticipate to be a long, fruitful career.
Whoever they are and wherever they come from, they form a community...we form a community. Two decades ago, when I started with RMRT,
I loved being part of this little theatrical community — I still do, and it
was much smaller then. Now, Jeff and I have the privilege of putting this
community together. We choose the best directors and designers in the
country. We choose the finest actors and musicians to perform for you
for “letting us to do the work that we love to do in this most beautiful
place on Earth.”
As we enjoy our 49th year this season, we are greatly anticipating our
big 50th Anniversary Golden Celebration in 2017. I thank you so much
for joining our community tonight, and I hope you’ll be long-term family
members at Rocky Mountain Rep.
Thanks for coming….I hope you enjoy the show!

For 49 years, RMRT has strived for the highest levels of artistic
excellence, assembling elite, professional talent from over 1,200
national auditions to bring you a summer to cheer for!

Our goal is to provide fine theatre at affordable prices, knowing that
doing so provides a positive aesthetic to our patrons and community,
and impacts local economies. Last season, 19,000 people came to
our wonderful town to go to the theatre — their non-theatre
expenditures bringing valuable revenue to local businesses.

Ticket sales only support 58% of our general operating budget. As
we celebrate another summer, we are counting on your generosity
to continue to fill that 42% operating budget void. Every donation,
of any size, makes a tremendous difference. As a thank you for your
generous gift, we’ll continue to produce the quality theatre you’ve
come to expect from RMRT. Quite simply, it is not possible to do
what we do without you.

Friends of The Rep
The following volunteers are an integral part of Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre. We greatly appreciate their countless hours of service. They
accomplish everything from gift shop sales, to assisting with fund-raising events, to sprucing up our Betty Dick Off-Broadway, Riverside and Frieda’s
housing, to helping in the Administrative Office, to acting as good will ambassadors for our beloved theatre. If you would enjoy lending your talents and
becoming a part of this group, please contact Jennifer Mace at the Administrative Office (970-627-5087) or visit our website (rockymountainrep.com)
for volunteer opportunities.
