ENGLISH
Let us refresh ourselves through reading.
(1)Visit any book store or library along with your elders and select two story books and read them well.
(2)Prepare ‘My Dictionary’ using colorful pastel sheet and choose about 30 new words .At the end of
the month, arrange the words alphabetically, along with their meanings pictures and make sentences
using these words.
(3) Design an attractive cover for your Dictionary.
Let us learn to write well.
(4) Write 10 pages of good hand writing.
G.SCIENCE
Do all work neatly in separate scrapbook
1. Go for a nature walk in your nearby park/ garden in your elder’s supervision. Take a picture of
any one herb, shrub , climber and tree . compare them in respect of their stem , size and life span.
2. Observation and execution – Being a responsible citizen observe the places which lack of trees in
your surroundings . To overcome this problem, plant a sapling name it water it daily. Also to
make people aware of importance of trees, prepare a slogan on save trees and paste it on your
entrance. Click some photographs supporting your slogan.
3. Check and mate –health and hygiene-find out the winner by rating yourself and yourfamily
members on the basis of following hygienic condition or steps to be followed atleast for a week.
You are required to maintain the following chart and tick against the step you and your family

a) Mark Delhi.

V )Hand Prints ( in different colours) of your Family members. Write their names & one good quality

MATHEMATICS
General Instructions:
Make a scrap book for holiday homework. Use a colorful cover using beautiful mathematical shapecuttings like triangles, squares, rectangles, etc. Write your name and grade on the scrap book.
Task 1: Writing and learning tables
Write and learn tables from 1 to 20.Recite these tables to your parents thrice in a week.
Task 2: Counting
In your scrap book, write down counting from 500 to 1,000.
Also, write the numbers in words in front of the numbers. For example:

Task 3: Kid’s shopping
Write five brands of chocolates, cold drinks and biscuits each. Mention the quantity and the rate printed
on the wrapper.
Task 4: Model :
Make a model of a clock representing the numbers (using thick paper plate for the background
of the clock , cardboard or tongue cleaner for needles , colored ice-cream sticks for numbers.
Task 5: Revise and practice the content done so far for the first cycle test.
G.KA. Collect the information on IPL cricket tournament and paste the related pictures.
