Safety– Please Read & Inform Us!
Field Trips– Campers are required to wear the
camp T-Shirt provided. Extra shirts may be purchased for $6.00 each. Trips are mostly schedule
for Tuesday and Thursdays.
Illness/Injury- Please do not put other campers
and staff at risk by sending your child to camp if
they are not feeling well. If your child becomes ill
or injured while at camp you will be notified immediately by the staff. If you are unavailable staff
will contact your alternative emergency contacts.
You will be expected to have your child picked-up
promptly.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of a heavy downpour or lightening before
camp opens we will ask for children to be dropped at the
Township Annex building at 440 Chestnut St. (West
Fairview). This will be communicated to parents via email
or the recreation department voice mail (732-0711 opt.
3). If the same inclement weather occurs after camp has
started we will move the kids to the Annex Building,
Township Building room 107 or an East Pennsboro Area
School District school (at their discretion). A message will
again be emailed to parents or parent may call the office.
Campers will not be moved after 3 pm.

Medication– We do not administer medication to
campers for any reason. If an accommodation
would need to be made it may be addressed with
the Recreation Director.
Discipline-It is important that the campers know
that rules must be followed to keep everyone safe.
Procedures for not obeying camp rules will result
in a ladder of discipline, according to the severity
of the behavior. If a camper receives three discipline reports at any time during the summer, they
will be expelled from camp.

Registration Day April 14, 2015
General Camp Information
Day Camp is a 9 week enrichment camp
for 6—12 year olds. Campers participate in field trips, theme days, creek play
and outdoor recreation. All at one cost.
Dates: June 15—August 14
Time: 8 am—5:00 pm
Age: Must be 6 or have completed
Kindergarten before June 15, 2015
through 12 years.
Location: Adams Ricci Park and Acri
Meadow Park.
Staff: All children will be supervised by
qualified staff with education or recreation camp experience. An adult to child
ratio of 1:10 will be met during activity
time of 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. Children
are transported by a contract bus and
operated by a licensed bus driver for
trips and daily activities.
What to Bring Daily:
We ask parents to provide a nonrefrigerated lunch daily (unless stated on
daily schedule for other lunch options).
You may provide your child with snacks
through out the day as well. We ask for
you to send a water bottle labeled with child’s
last name to camp as we
do provide water through
the day.
Daily Routine:
8:00– 9:00 am: Campers arrive at Adams
Ricci Community Park– North East
(Summerdale) pavilion. No later than 9 am
because our days are spent at Acri Meadow
Park and field trip departure times.
9:30 am—3:30 pm– Activity time is spent at
Acri Meadow Park participating in creek activities such as wading and canoeing. Other
group activities such as basketball, volleyball,
teather ball, arts & crafts, board games, organized scavenger hunts and games are conducted. Selected
days during the
week we will
provide field
trips (included
with camp cost)
to roller skating,
movies, Ski
Roundtop, Gettysburg All Star Complex, Hershey attractions, Ice Cream days and swimming.
4:00 - 5:00 pm- All campers will return to
Adams Ricci Community Park NorthEast
(Summerdale) pavilion at 4:00 pm for parent
pick up to begin. All children must be picked
up by 5:00 pm. We ask that you have a responsible guardian listed on your registration
sheet be the only persons signing your child
in and out of camp. Chronically late pick-ups
may result in additional fees or termination
from the program.
Registration and Payment Information
Registration Fees:
$20 per child (non-refundable) plus
portion of camp tuition.
Tuition per child:
Residents– $120.00
Non-Residents– $130.00
Payments:
A portion of the total camp cost is
due at registration. Each child equals
a $20 registration fee plus $50 per
weeks selected of the 9 total weeks.
The remaining balance is due June
15, 2015.
Refunds:
All refunds will forfeit the $20 registration fee. After May 25th patron
will pay $20.00 per week canceled
from original registration.
