Is the hem sagging in your beloved pants? Rescue them with survival sewing skills! In this workshop, you will learn about basic hand sewing tools and techniques. Topics include: threading a needle, sewing on a button, whip stitching a hem, and using a running stitch to fix a ripped seam. Participation is limited to 12. Bring your own shirt/pants, etc. that need to be mended if you like. Sewing kits will be provided. Jan Brott Yoga In Your Office: Practices for a Healthier Mind and Body Pending Chris Shupala Participants will learn a “Prana Vida” practice that includes breathing sequences, concentration techniques, and meditation. Presented systematically, these practices develop better health, mental clarity, and inner peace. In addition, we will learn a few yoga flows that can be added to your daily office routine. Participants are advised not to eat a heavy meal 60 minutes prior to the session and to wear comfortable office attire (skirts may not be suitable).
