symbolism. Return to
Edinburgh to visit the Royal
Botanic Gardens. The
Botanics is world renowned for
its horticultural excellence.
Over 70 acres of beautifully
landscaped grounds
provide a tranquil
haven. You will enjoy
afternoon cream tea

the garden. The
remainder of the day is
at leisure. Overnight:
Roxburghe Hotel,
Edinburgh

(B, D) Journey north to Kingussie to visit the Highland
Folk Museum. Enter the World of the Highlander – to

through the material
remains of 400 years of
Highland life from
clansman to crofter. You
will see the Peaceful and
inspiring Clava Cairns,

Ballygally Castle was built

just outside Portrush.
This structure sits on
basalt rock jutting out
over the sea, reached by
a wooden walkway.
Continue on to visit the
Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge which spans a chasm of
some eighty feet deep.
Its construction once
consisted of a single
rope handrail and
widely spaced slats,
which the fishermen
would traverse across
with salmon they
caught off the island. After your visit, continue to
Bushmills Distillery, which is the world’s oldest whiskey
