For 35 years, New Directions Career Center (NDCC) has helped individuals, especially women,
to achieve financial stability and independence. A team of knowledgeable career development
specialists and Licensed Professional Counselors deliver programming that addresses each
person's unique career needs from a holistic perspective.

If you have questions about résumé writing, job searching, effective interviewing or
anything else related to your job search, stop by a CML Library Branch for a 15 minute
session with one of NDCC's knowledgeable career development specialists.
No registration is required for CML sessions, but sessions are limited. Sessions will be
assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Our Enrichment Services are available to graduates and clients of the Center, as well as
to the general public. Both men and women are welcome. There is no cost to attend,
however a $10 donation is suggested. Call (614) 849-0028 to RSVP.
FINANCIAL LITERACY WORKSHOPS
Workshops address financial literacy topics such as understanding credit reports, creating a
personal budget, retirement planning, and much more! Scheduled on the last Wednesday of each
month from 3:15-4:45 pm, these workshops are a great way to develop and refine money
management strategies.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS
These workshops promote the ongoing professional growth necessary to achieve occupational
goals and manage one’s career over time. Facilitated by professionals from the Human Resource
Association of Central Ohio (HRACO), these one-hour workshops cover a variety of career
development topics with an “insider’s” twist. Held the first Wednesday of the month from 7:45 –
9:15 am – continental breakfast included!

CREATING YOUR FUTURE: EXPERT HELP WITH JOBS & MONEY
This exclusive, one-day seminar is designed to empower you with the skills and knowledge
necessary to take your life to the next level. Learn from recruiters, money coaches, and Human
Resources experts about landing the right job, managing your career, and handling money wisely in
today’s changing economy. Seminar meets from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on a Wednesday. Held four
times per year.
