• Cosmofarma Exhibition is an eagerly-anticipated moment for both
companies presenting their new products and pharmacists who have
the chance for professional development through the wide and varied
program of conferences and workshops.
• The Italian pharmaceutical market is very dynamic: it has a total
value of approximately 25 billion euros: about 10 billion euros is made
up of non-prescription products (parapharmaceuticals, supplements,
cosmetics, medical-surgical appliances, medical devices and selfmedication medicines). Italy has 18,000 pharmacies with new openings
planned that will bring the total to over 20,000.
• The organizers of Cosmofarma started a program of
internationalization a long time ago and invest considerably in
order to ensure the presence of qualified international buyers and
distributors from the most attractive markets.

from the point of view of both product and technology, to improve their

economic-political debate, with
its wide and varied program
of conferences, workshops
and educational sessions with
the participation of the most
important speakers in the
pharmacy world: there were 73
of these events in 2014.

INTERNATIONAL
You Meet is the new matching service and
advanced search engine that allows visitors
to quickly identify exhibitors who match their
interest.
In this way pharmacists and buyers will
have the unique opportunity to have a
prescheduled agenda before the show.
INTERNATIONAL
BUYER PROGRAM
Since 2013, Cosmofarma has been focusing
on internationalization, with the aim of
helping domestic and foreign companies that
are trying to expand into
international markets
The International Buyer Program is the
platform that allows exhibiting companies to
meet operators in the Italian and international
markets, combining the exhibition event with
a busy program of B2B meetings.
600 meetings were set up in 2014 with
31 top buyers from Bulgaria, Croatia,
Cyprus, Egypt, France, Great Britain,
Germany, India, Iran, Ireland, Norway, Czech
Republic, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia,
Spain, and Turkey.
The 2015 edition of COSMOFARMA will
again promote the search for and selection
of qualified Italian and international operators,
through collaboration with institutional and
business partners.
NATIONAL
PAVILIONS
In order to promote the
international expansion of the
event, national pavilions have
been created which bring
together operators from various
European countries.
