Reading responses will help you prepare for class discussions and develop ideas for writing. Each response should be at least 1 page, typed. Use MLA format: double-spaced, one-inch margins, Times New Roman, 12 point font. (See reverse.) Each response is worth 4 points (4 points x 4 responses= 5% of total course grade. Refer to specific pages or examples from Daytripper to fully explain your thoughts. 1. Describe your reaction to these chapters? What was most interesting? What was confusing? 2. Write down at least one question you have about this chapter/ book. 3. Olinda tells Brás that Jorge’s photography reveals his true identity. What do you think reveals who someone truly is? Give an example from your own experience. 4. Brás tells Jorge in Chapter 1: “I wanted to write about life” but now “all I write about is death” (22). Do agree with this statement?
