Worship & Fellowship
Thank you to Senior Pastor Dean Francis and his culinary
staff for a delicious meal served at the annual Appalachia
Service Project (ASP) fundraiser last night. Also, thank you
to Steve Tomick, ASP Director of Development, Jane
Cheema, Pastor of Youth and Family Ministry, and all of
the fine youth of our church, on a successful fundraiser.
Please keep the members of our Adult ASP trip in your
prayers this week as they travel to and from Jonesville, VA.
Lenten Potlucks will take place every Wednesday from
6:00-7:00 p.m. February 25-March 25 in the dining room.
Main dish provided; bring a side dish or salad to share.
Got Sabbath? – This theme for Lent 2015 reminds us to
practice Sabbath time whenever and however we can. We
invite you to share your experiences of Sabbath time and to
check our Facebook page to read others’. Send your
reflections to Bonny Roth at bonny@faithatfirst.com.
Need a break? Tittle Chapel is open for individual prayer
during Lent every Sunday 9:00-10:30 a.m. and Wednesday
5:00-6:00 p.m. Drop in for a few Sabbath moments.
On the Same Page book group will meet on Wednesday,
March 25 at 7:45 p.m. at the home of Cherie Asante. This
month we are discussing The Girl You Left Behind by JoJo
Moyes.
Got transportation? Several members need rides to
worship on Sunday. Congregational Care Committee is
forming teams of drivers who serve one or two Sundays a
month. Please let Bonny Roth know what you can do to
support this important ministry at bonny@faithatfirst.com.
