“SURVIVAL KIT FOR LIFE”
As a woman, are there days when you feel that your life
has gotten out of balance, spinning frantically out of control?
A demanding job, maintaining your home, rushing to get
children off to school and activities, being a loving and
supportive wife, or maybe you are single and all
responsibilities fall on your shoulders - these are just a few of
the things that can have you feeling anxious and frustrated.
Many of us feel the pressures of everyday life more and
more . When life gets out of control, many women seek to
regain the balance but often the solution feels elusive.
So how can today’s woman maintain a healthy and
balanced lifestyle with all the pressures and pitfalls of this
busy and distracting culture? A Christian perspective to
having a balanced life begins by focusing on God. A
relationship with God means that you are never alone - He
will help you through even the toughest times. As your life
becomes more in sync with God, you will realize that even in
times of struggle your life will continue to be balanced if your
focus remains on Him. If your body feels worn out and you
are gasping for breath, Zoe Elmore will show you a creative
approach to refresh and recharge your energy, using
straightforward and simple ways to discover spiritual truths
through everyday items. Her “Survival Kit For Life” will
provide ways to maneuver through life’s challenges, while
establishing a meaningful relationship with God.
Described as “captivating and charming with a dash of
energy and sparkle”, Zoe Elmore’s inspiring teaching impels
women toward a life of intentional spirituality. She is a
powerful, passionate and effective Bible teacher who
challenges women to live beyond their circumstances.
Raised in the South, a southern bell of Greek heritage, Zoe
and her husband of more than thirty years, live near
Charlotte, North Carolina.

FAITH IS NOT A FEELING
Patricia Bain
God made us to be emotional beings and emotions play
an important role in our lives. But sometimes emotions
cloud our judgment, especially in the area of trusting God.
Ultimately, trust is built by knowing God and placing your
faith in Him and in His Word. An array of scriptures, as
well as real life examples from Godly people and your
presenter, Pat Bain, will encourage and help you on your
journey of faith and trust in the Lord.
Pat accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a
college freshman. Possessing a passion for sharing
God’s love, she enjoys attending and leading Bible
studies, mentoring women, and other volunteer
opportunities.
B
WHAT YOU EAT MAY CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Marie Corrente
These days it seems everyone is talking about gluten, a
protein composite found in specific grains and ingested
through our diets, that can trigger adverse reactions in the
body. While presenting a cooking demonstration of
gluten-free foods, sharing recipes, and providing several
items for taste testing, Marie Corrente will explain what
gluten intolerance means, the symptoms, and how it can
affect your body. Learn how to determine if you are
intolerant and how to change your eating to become
gluten free.
A native of Portland, Oregon and now living in Fond du
Lac, Marie has been married to her husband Francesco
for twenty-two years. Together they raised five children in
addition to running their own business. They love to travel
and spend time with their grandchildren.
C
WITH ALL YOUR HEART
Marilyn Bazett-Jones
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on
your own understanding” Proverbs 3:5. We may
believe in God but are we putting our full trust in
Him? When it seems like life is crushing us, do we
have faith that He will bring us through the darkness?
In some of the most stressful spots, overwhelming
concerns, and lowest valleys during the journey of
losing her husband to cancer, Marilyn Bazett-Jones
will share how God has been there and provided for
her in amazing ways. No matter what life brings,
God is in control and we can look to Him for all we
need.
As a recent widow, Marilyn is now authoring a book
about God’s abundant provisions in her life with her
husband Ted. She enjoys blogging, photography,
travel, the outdoors, and spending time with their five
children and four grandchildren. See her Abiding
blog at have8th.blogspot.com.

SELF DEFENSE FOR WOMEN
Joshua Harn & Dana Hibbard
Self-defense and self-protection are an important priority
for women. Statistics show that all women, regardless of
age, are candidates to become victims of violent crime at
any point in their lives. When a woman's safety is in
danger, defending herself by fighting back is the most
ethical decision she can make. To learn how to protect
yourself in your home or in public, Josh Harn and Dana
Hibbard will share information and techniques that are
practical and easy to remember.
Dana, a Probation Agent, is knowledgeable in protection
from domestic abuse and violence. A police officer since
April 1996, Josh currently serves with the Chilton Police
Department. Married to Sarah and the father of two young
girls, the information Josh will present he has shared with
his wife to help ensure her protection.

and brimming with self-confidence. Starting with make-up
tips, Joan Merten will show you how to make your face
appear thinner and younger. Then, on to the Little Black
Dress Event for fashion, fun, and dressing more
confidently.

JESUS: WHO IS THIS MAN
WHO SAYS HE IS GOD?
Gary Lynch
The world has many opinions about Jesus, and many
questions as well. But who was He really? Was He
a prophet, a great moral teacher, a mystic, a god, or
God in the flesh? The deity of Christ is the most
important question we have to answer about
Christianity because Jesus said He was God. In his
seminar, Gary Lynch will help you find the true
answer to this all-important question. Our eternal
destiny hangs on the importance of knowing and
being able to share with others ‘Who is this man who
says He is God?’
Retired as a dairy industry consultant, Gary is now a
Bible study teacher and elder at Faith Alliance
Church in Chilton. Having been widowed, he has
shared the past fifteen years of his life with his lovely
wife Beverly. Together their family consists of six
children and seven grandchildren.
