Directions:
From LA or Long Beach, 405 South to Goldenwest Street - South. 2.5
miles to Warner Avenue - East. 0.5 miles to Ocean View High School.
Corner of Gothard and Warner.
From South Orange County or San Diego area, 405 North to Beach
Blvd. - South 1.0 mile to Warner Avenue - West. 1.0 miles to Ocean
View High School. Corner of Gothard and Warner.
Parking:
Spike check and packets will take place at the athletes’ entrance off of
the Gothard Street entrance. Bus parking is available in the adult
school lot. Pick up packets Saturday morning near the gate between
7:30 am and 12:00 noon. Spectators may enter off of Warner or
Gothard.

Facilities:
Three year old, nine-lane, all-weather track and runways with a grass
infield. Spikes up to 3/16” pyramids allowed; spikes will be for sale at
the meet. Standard concrete rings for discus and shot put. The discus
ring is in the interior of the track, shot put on the south side outside
the track. One pit for TJ, another for LJ, two HJ pits, one for PV.
Canopies:
May be set up in top of the stadium only on the north end of the
bleachers or in the warm-up area on the JV baseball field.
Events:
A schedule is published with this letter. (All standard CIF events are
to be contested).
Warm-ups:
The junior varsity baseball field at the south end of the stadium will be
available for warm-ups.
Entry Fees:
$12.00 per athlete to a maximum of $180 per gender, per team.
However, if you enter both girls’ and boys’ teams in the Frosh/Soph
and the Varsity divisions, your combined total will be a maximum of
$600.
Fees must be paid before the athletes compete. Checks should be
made out to Ocean View High School. Please mail checks to the
school address Attention: Grant Mosher. Write on the memo line:
“Track Invitational.”
Entries:
1. Please contact Coach Mosher via email, phone, snail mail or fax
regarding your intent to compete.
2. Please complete the enclosed contract and mail it in or fax it to
Ocean View High School at (714) 843-0541, attention Coach Mosher.
3. Please submit all entries of your athletes on finishedresults.com.
4. If you are unable to mail your check in time for it to arrive by April 14,
please bring it with you to the meet.
Subs:
Substitutions will be allowed, but no additions on the day of the meet.
Deadlines:
All entries are due by Saturday, April 11, 2015.

Awards:
Medals will be awarded to the top three places in each event, regardless
of the number of heats.

Running Events:
Report to the clerk of the course when the event
is called. Athletes not reporting for their events will be scratched.
Field Events:
Report directly to your event area when the
event is called.
Protests:
Discuss the matter with the meet director.
Results:
Will be posted on the website at oceanviewtrack.com and
finishedresults.com.
All freshmen and sophomores are allowed.
Any athlete may enter.
Concessions: There will be a full concession stand available at the track with
excellent, reasonably priced food and drinks.
