Oliver & Bonacini is thrilled to be the exclusive service provider for the Toronto Board of Trade. We have a reputation for
service excellence with our event spaces and restaurants Canoe, Jump, Auberge du Pommier, Biff’s Bistro, O&B Canteen,
Luma, Malaparte and Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill, with locations in Toronto, Oakville, Waterloo and Blue Mountain. In
2011 we are pleased to become exclusive service providers to Muskoka’s Windermere House and Arcadian Court (starting 2012).
Here at First Canadian Place, we are delighted to partner with the Toronto Board of Trade to offer over 30,000 sq. ft.
of newly renovated, contemporary space ready to be customized into a stunning setting for your wedding. Combined
with a chef-driven kitchen and top-notch service team, we look forward to handling your day with the quality,

Bookings are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Saturday and Sunday afternoon lunch events run from 11am to 4pm
and evening events from 5pm to 2am. Full-day buyouts are available Saturday and Sunday. Bookings are available on
statutory holidays; a $1000 surcharge applies.
Yes, you will have access for setup 3 hours prior to your contracted event start time.
There is no charge to use the space if the minimum food and beverage spend requirement is met. If not met, the difference
appears as a room rental fee on the final bill. All minimums are exclusive of taxes and gratuity.

Please notify us of your total guaranteed guest count five (5) business days in advance of your function. If no revised guest
count is provided, the originally contracted number will be assumed accurate and taken as your guarantee. You will be
billed for the guaranteed number given or attendance – whichever is greater.

Contact AVW-Telav to coordinate all of your audio visual needs. Please note that adding audio visual equipment to the
room can alter total capacities.
Underground parking is available at First Canadian Place located on the south side of Adelaide between York and Bay
Streets. Prepaid parking passes or valet service can be arranged for your guests by contacting your event coordinator. We
are happy to provide you with maps, directions and specific parking instructions.
Signage outside of the Toronto Board of Trade area is subject to approval by First Canadian Place. For approval, submit a
photo or file of your proposed signage to your coordinator no later than five (5) business days before your event with details
on dimensions, placement, when the signage will be in place and for how long. Once approved, easels will be supplied.
The first floor lobby screens located on the south wall are available for up to two images to be displayed for a fee of $300.
Please submit photos in .jpeg format within five (5) business days of your event. Sorry, slideshows are not possible.

Yes. If any outside equipment is bring brought onto the property, a copy of the vendor’s Certificate of Insurance valued at
$2,000,000.00 is required one (1) month in advance of your event.
Be sure to consider the following items for your ‘day of’ agenda. Your event coordinator can help with any questions you
may have regarding:








ceremony – location, length, and travel time to venue if offsite
photos – pre or post ceremony? Location? How long will they take? Do guests know when and
where they are to be for photos?
cocktails/canapés – where? How long?
receiving line
seating: depending on final guest count and pace of crowd, seating can take from 10-30 minutes
formal introductions, first toasts, welcome speech
order taking – at least 15 minutes needed
speeches – for best flow, we recommend having speeches between courses
Please provide the company names and times of your deliveries to your coordinator so arrangements can be made in
advance of your event. Access may be denied if appropriate arrangements are not made. Deliveries requiring a loading dock
must be made between 6am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. All weekend deliveries are subject to a fee and require reservations
through First Canadian Place / Toronto Board of Trade.
Security is mandatory with any bar package to monitor activity in and out of the premises to ensure only invited guests are
granted access. The fee for security is $25/hour and is arranged through your coordinator.
The scheduled event manager will be your on-site contact the day of your event.
On-site rehearsals are based on availability and subject to approval. Venue rental fees may apply.
A complimentary bridal / wedding party suite is available to you and your wedding party. There are many lockable rooms
available for your use if you require storage areas.

Yes. A three-course vendor meal is $35/person and is Chef’s choice, determined on the day of the event.
Your contract will outline your individual payment schedule. Your signed contract and an initial deposit of $2,000.00
(payable by cash, certified personal cheque or credit card) is required to secure the date and space. A second deposit of half
the minimum spend requirement, followed by the remaining balance is due according to dates outlined in your contract.
Your contract may be terminated with formal written notice within 15 days of signing. A $500 administration fee + GST
will be deducted from your deposit. All deposits and payments are non-refundable if notice of cancellation is received more
than 15 days after signing. Oliver & Bonacini reserves the right to terminate any functions for which payment of final
estimated invoice has not been received five (5) business days prior to the event.
If you wish to arrange designated seating, please supply your own place cards and/or floor plan.
Although we do not arrange the above, we are happy to provide referrals through our preferred suppliers list.

Our menu selection is based on current seasonal selections. All menus are pre-set and can be created with a choice your
guests can make on-site. Feel free to interchange items between menus – prices will be adjusted based on your final
selections. Please note, your celebratory cake or cupcakes are the only outside food permitted.
A menu tasting that includes a maximum of three appetizers, three main courses and three desserts is complimentary for 2
guests. Additional guests are responsible for all food and beverage consumed. Tastings do not include canapés, kid’s meals or
food station items. Date and times are subject to Chef availability and can be arranged through your coordinator.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR SUCCESS
CANCELLATION
At AVW-TELAV, we provide presentation technology
solutions that allow for powerful, effective communication at
your events. In a wide variety of presentation venues, we
consistently provide award-winning technical expertise,
responsive staff, and state-of-the-art equipment.
A request for cancellation of equipment or services must be
received 24 hours prior to the event to avoid a one-day
rental charge. If equipment and services have already been
provided at the time of cancellation, original charges will be
applied. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Above all, we deliver service second to none.
LABOUR CHARGES
UNDERSTANDING
Technical labour required will vary in accordance with
the type of equipment and services you need. Your
AVW-TELAV representative will provide you with a
detailed, proposal, customized for your specific event.

event, AVW-TELAV understands the issues and completes
