Extended School Year Summer Program

POSITIONS:
EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM COORDINATOR:
Assist with the implementation of Extended School Year Services for special education students.
Responsibilities include supervision of staff, assist teachers with preparation of classroom environments,
plan for and monitor student transportation, oversee field trips, parent and staff communication regarding
ESY, coordinate schedules for individual and/or group therapies, organization of staff needs related to
materials and supplies, monitor student arrival and dismissal, and monitor staff attendance and substitutes.
Preparation during the school year in advance for summer programs, flexibility with on-site hours
during the summer program. (7/6/15 - 8/6/15)
Salary: Hourly Workshop Rate per Teacher’s contract
CERTIFIED SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS:
Prepare and instruct students in small groups and individualized work for reading and math, per IEP goals
for ESY programming.
Salary: Academic Summer Rate per Teacher’s Contract
INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANTS:
(two years college and/or experience preferred)
Work collaboratively and under the direct supervision of special education teachers and program
coordinator to provide extended school year services for special education students.
Salary: Per Contract Ed. Assistant hourly rate
SPEECH & LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST:
(Certified in Speech & Language)
Provide speech & language therapy per individual student IEP’s for Extended School Year Services.
Salary: Academic Summer Rate per Teacher’s Contract
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST:
(Certified OTR or COTA)
Provide occupational therapy per individual student IEP’s for extended school year services.
Salary: Academic Summer Rate per Teacher’s Contract or COTA contract
PHYSICAL THERAPIST:
(Certified PT)
Provide physical therapy for IEP Extended School Year Services.
Salary: Academic Summer Rate per Teacher’s Contract
Extended School Year Program Dates:
July 6, 2015 – August 6, 2015
July 7, 2015 – July 30, 2015
Note: Some programs are 3, 4 or 5 days a week.
*Elementary DLP Program July 7, 2015 - August 13, 2015
Preference will be given to applications received prior to March 27, 2015.
Preference will be given to current Foxborough Public School employees.
