The Food and Garden Show
Despite a wet afternoon, the hall was crowded as children and parents
took part in the many activities on offer. The Bake Off finals were watched
by many, with Phoebe Harris taking the title for KS1 and Faye Hogan for
KS2. Year 3’s Let it Grow project, with many handmade gardening
products for sale, raised over £100 for the sensory garden. Well done to
them! The Eco Committee organised seed planting with compost and
seeds donated by Homebase. Jo Duffield from Wyre Forest District Council, organised cress planting in
hand decorated jars. Our food producers, Mawley milk, Creed, Bewdley farm shop and Stateside
butchers all had produce on display, for us to try. Children enjoyed making their own healthy sandwich
and then eating it, with ingredients donated by our local COOP. 10:32 also provided smoothies.
Donations collected for the Millbrook Suite at Kidderminster hospital totalled £66.
Further to our letter with the sad news of Mrs Wilding losing her battle against cancer, we have informed
by her family that the funeral will be held on Wednesday 27th May at 11am at the Wyre Forest
Crematorium for those who would like to pay their respects
