OPERATING PROCEDURES
Vending
• Turn VEND key to ON position (CW).
• Press the numbered button for the column desired.
• Rotate the release knob for the selected column.
• Collect your tube of change from the dispensing tray.
• Tube count automatically subtracts tubes as they are vended.
• The vend delay must be satisfied before you may vend again.
ALT VEND Mode
• Turn MGR key to ON position (CW).
• Press the ALT VEND button.
• The screen will indicate ALT VEND. While in this mode the vend
delay is 30 seconds regardless of the normal value.
• To switch back to the normal vend delay press the ALT VEND button
with the MGR key in the ON position (CW).
Loading Tubes
• Open outer door (see Door Operation – Normal Access).
• Insert the tubes into the columns.
• While screen says “Loading Tubes?” press the DOOR button to edit
the tube inventory.
• Press the number button corresponding to the first column you
are loading.
• Enter the new tube inventory for that column using the number
buttons. Use button “10” to enter a “0.” Enter two digits for number
10, 11 or 12. Only entries of 00 to 12 are accepted.
• Press the DOOR button, then press the next column number and
enter the new inventory amount; repeat until all columns are updated.
• Press ALT VEND to exit the tube inventory update mode.
• Close the door to return to normal operation.
Checking Tube Count
• Turn MGR key to OFF position (CCW).
• Press the DOOR button.
• The screen indicates the number of tubes in the first five columns
for several seconds, then shows the last five columns.
• Do a physical tube count any time by opening the door and looking
at the view slots.
Manual Drop
• A manual drop drawer is provided for making secure drops of cash.
Door Operation – Normal Access
• Insert MGR key and turn to ON position.
• Press the DOOR button.
• The DELAY/READY indicator will turn red indicating the delay cycle
is in progress.
• The MGR key may be removed during the delay cycle.
• At the end of the door delay cycle both LEDs will switch to green.
• Insert MGR key and turn to ON position.
• Press the DOOR button.
• The DOOR indicator will go off.
• IMMEDIATELY turn the handle and open the outer door.
Door Operation – Armored Car Access
• Insert and turn the ACO key.
• IMMEDIATELY turn the handle and open the outer door.
Programming
• Vend delay and door delay times are set with a DIP switch on the main
circuit board. The factory defaults are 2 minutes vend delay and 10 minutes
door delay. To modify these settings contact McGunn Technical Support
at 1-800-452-4655.
