the GBAA golf tournament and banquet. During the meeting, we will be
holding elections for openings on the Board of Directors. Attached are bios
and resumes of the individuals interested in serving on the Board, including
both incumbent members and new nominees. Whether or not you attend the
meeting, you have the option to cast your vote early using the attached

Russell (Joe) Bryan
My name is Russell Joe Bryan. I have been with The Home Depot Aviation department here in
Atlanta for about 15 years. In that time some of the positions I have held are as Safety Captain,
Standards Captain, Training Captain, and am currently the Learning Management System
Captain for online learning and training tracking. Specializing in course development.
I am current on our Falcon 50EX, Falcon 2000LX, and Falcon 900EX Easy.
Other type ratings held are Falcon 50/900B, Global Express, Beechjet 400/MU300, Citation
II/V, and the Sabreliner 60/65. My total flight experience is 10,500 plus.
The CAM (Corporate Aviation Manager) certification was attained from the NBAA in 2013 and
I currently coach about 20 local and online CAM candidates with 6 successful CAM testing’s in
the last year and a half.
My education background includes a B.S. from the Eastern Kentucky University College of
Law Enforcement, a graduate course in organizational behavioral management from Morehead
State University, and currently I am enrolled in the Occupational Safety Management Masters
Degree program through Embry Riddle Worldwide University. I feel that self improvement and
promotion is important in an industry that keeps moving forward in ideas and technology.

While at Home Depot Aviation I have been involved in a number of our SMS (Safety
Management Systems) initiatives. I am a certified ISBAO auditor and have helped prepare and
hosted our last 3 ISBAO stage 3 audits. One thing I enjoy is working with and benchmarking
with other flight departments in developing their SMS and or preparing for an ISBAO audit.
My previous work history includes a stint as a Chief Pilot from early 1999 to late 2000 of a
small Atlanta upstart flight department which included a Beechjet 400, a Falcon 50 and a Falcon
900B. Before that I spent 3 years as a Citation V pilot for Ashland Oil in my home town of
Ashland Ky. Prior to that I was a freight pilot in a Baron 58 for a few years and enjoyed my
time as a flight instructor in college.
I am married to my best friend Lisa and have 2 daughters Hayley and Hannah who room
together at Georgia Southern University. Some of our hobbies we enjoy together include
boating, tennis, vintage cars, and fostering Bassett hounds for the Bassett Hound rescue of
Georgia.

Chris Canon
I have been honored to be a part of the Georgia Business Aviation Association
Board since last year. My position at Textron Aviation selling piston aircraft in
Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi gives me a great platform to recruit new
members to the GBAA.
I have only been in the aviation industry for 3 ½ years now. My previous
experience has been in construction and manufacturing. Working in Citation sales
for the past three years and now Cessna and Beechcraft piston sales has given me
the opportunity to meet many of our members and attend most GBAA events over
the last several years. I have seen the good work this group does first hand; I was
even awarded a flight training scholarship in 2013. I believe in the GBAA mission
and look forward to continued work with the board.

Dan Davenport
Dan has been in the aviation industry for over 30 years. After leaving the Army in
1985 where he served as Crew chief to a 4 Star General, he joined Gulfstream
Aerospace in the Service Center for a whopping $7/hr. At Gulfstream he
performed his college internship in Tech Ops as a structural advisor to customers
and MROs. He served customers at Gulfstream for five years.
Typical of Corporate Aviation, Dan is the poster child in for lay-offs, Dan has had
many great jobs with great employers and built lasting friendships, he and is likely
the only person who experienced the benefit of both the Enron and MCI World
Com issues in the 90’s.
As an A&P, IA and with his BA in Aviation Sciences from Eastern New Mexico
University, Dan has served the public as a short order cook at the Waffle House to
corporate flight attendant, Director of Maintenance to Small business owner, A&P
contractor to Pilot Instructor at Simuflite. He has learned how to get things done
and how not to. He has learned that all experiences in life bring you to the person
you are today and to cherish every moment. But most importantly he has learned
that the one thing you can keep at the end of the day is your integrity.
For the past 12 years, Dan has been with StandardAero. Today he is the in the
Business Development group as Director of Airframe Programs where he is
constantly working towards raising the standard.
Dan looks forward to serving on this board if elected and will serve honestly,
politely and professionally as those have proven to serve before him.

G. Craig Jones
Craig Jones has been actively involved in the Corporate Aviation business for 20
years. His leadership and professionalism have earned him recognition as an
expert in matters relating to business ethics and FAA regulations. His attention to
detail and ability to think outside the box have assisted in everything thing from
building a plane from scratch to creating a new flight department. Growing up in
aviation, his family fostered his interests at a young age. Craig always had natural
problem solving abilities, which began with rebuilding motorcycles, boats and
cars. He continued his passion by obtaining his A&P certificate in 1993.
Craig then kept his aviation knowledge moving by working with experimental
plane builders, a service center, becoming DOM and finishing up his flight
education at Embry Riddle to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree. He then
moved to Atlanta and continued his corporate flight department career with
Flightworks and McKesson.
In 2008, he was able to obtain his Certified Aviation Manager designation. The
CAM designation is one of Craig’s most significant achievements. The combined
knowledge needed to qualify, pass and keep this designation would have not been
possible without Craig’s years of education & training.
Craig currently is employed with Southern Company as Chief of Maintenance,
spread among four geographic locations with a fleet of five fixed wing and two
helicopters. He and his team are currently working on procedural steps to secure
IS-BAO certification for the Southern Company flight department.

Dan Lucey
Dan Lucey is the President of FlightWorks, a trusted industry leader in aircraft
and asset management, private jet charter, and government services. He has
served on the GBAA Board of Directors since 2012.
There are a relatively small number of individuals in the business aviation
community that have successfully transformed themselves from the cockpit to
the boardroom. With more than twenty five of industry experience, Dan has
guided FlightWorks to focus on profitable business strategies and solid business
fundamentals for long-term growth while ensuring safety and service quality
remains at the highest levels in the industry. In addition to his role as President,
he also is a member of the FlightWorks Board of Directors.
Dan has a career path that is rare among aviation leaders. He spent a decade with
NetJets, garnering five type ratings and 11,000 hours of accident and incidentfree flight time. His career at NetJets culminated with his assignment to Chief
Pilot at the age of 33, where he was responsible for over 2,000 pilots and 400
aircraft. In addition, Dan created the aircraft management division for Flight
Options, where he served as the General Manager of Aircraft Management
Programs.
Dan’s education includes a B.S. degree in Aviation Management and Flight
Technology with honors from the Florida Institute of Technology. In addition,
he earned his MBA from Franklin University and was elected the Leadership
Scholar as the top student in his class. He is also an active business aviation
advocate, serving on several board of directors, participating in numerous
aviation related associations and serving as an FAA ARC committee member.

Kevin Rodgers
Kevin has over 20 years experience in business aviation working in high profile
organizations at senior levels. Before joining Ametek Aerospace and Defense
Kevin was Vice President of Aviation Services for Zenith Jet. Prior to this, he was
a Regional Director of Sales at Jet Aviation handling client’s supplemental lift
requirements as well as aircraft management services. Earlier in his career, Kevin
served as Director of Sales and Vice President of Operations at Bombardier
Aerospace's Skyjet North America division. Other areas of experience include
Aircraft Sales, Completions Management, ACMI leases and Sound Suppression
Systems for business aircraft.
