All seating is first-come, first-seated.
In May, the Jamboree Committee will send you an email update, with a link to
a questionnaire. The questionnaire will ask which sessions you are most likely
to attend. We need you to complete the questionnaire.
Room monitors have guaranteed seating; please volunteer for your
favorite session.
We need your information to make accurate room assignments. We want to
put the most popular sessions in the largest rooms. Your answers will help us
do that. You will not be locked into your decision.
For the safety of our guests, class rooms may be closed due to
capacity limits.
The Burbank Fire Department will be on site to insure that we do not
exceed room occupancy laws.
1. Make sure you have provided a correct, legible email address.
Please consider a “Plan B” in the event that your first-choice session is
full.
This year’s schedule includes video and audio-recorded sessions, and
streamed video sessions.
2. Watch for an email the first week of May. If you do not receive it by May 10,
let us know by email jamboree@scgsgenealogy.com. We will send another
copy.
3. It is very important that you complete the questionnaire so we can assign
the room that best fits the anticipated audience.

Registration confirmation will be sent by June 1 by postal mail. You will not receive tickets in the mail; you will
pick up your materials at Jamboree when you check in. Please help us contact you by providing accurate, legible

Registration Deadlines
Early Bird Registration discounts close as of 30 Apr 2015. Pre-registration closes 23 May 2015. Jamboree walk-in registrations will be accepted at the
door. Registrations for special events will not be available after May 23; however, tickets may be available at the conference. Check at the registration
desk.
Returned Check Policy
SCGS will charge a fee of $35 for each returned check. Returned checks must be paid by cash, money order, cashier’s check, or credit card.
Refunds
Refunds requested in writing on or before 23 May will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. There will be no refunds for requests received after 23
May or for refund requests not submitted in writing. Refund requests will be processed after Jamboree and refunds issued by 31 July.

unavailable, please call the Marriott directly. We strongly suggest that you make your reservation at the earliest possible opportunity and that you
reserve a room within the SCGS block. If you choose to make the reservation outside the block, (e.g. using AAA or AARP discounts), the Marriott
cannot guarantee that your room will be available. The Jamboree room block closes May 13 or when rooms are sold out.
