We provide opportunities for knowledge, skill, and leadership development of all students interested in a healthcare career. We give healthcare professionals the opportunity to invest in their future teams, strive to make education leader’s job easier, and help students become the better candidate in the health care industry. Open to all bona fide HOSA chapters in the state of Georgia. Entries may be made as specified in the rules for each competition. All exhibitors are required to read and abide by the Georgia National Fair General Rules and Regulations found at http://www.georgianationalfair.com/youth-educational-exhibits/. Online registration with Georgia National Fair is required for all entries. Deadline is Sept. 23, 2015. Required password must be obtained by Sept. 21. Exhibitors will be required to turn in a copy of their online registration confirmation to check-in for competitions. All premium checks will be mailed directly to the school within six weeks after the Fair is over. DIVISION 80101HOSA Chapter T-shirt CLASS 01 HOSA Chapter T-shirt OBJECTIVE: Chapter members should work together to create a T-shirt that promotes their local chapter. A copy of the online registration confirmation will be required to check-in for competition. This is a chapter event and should be entered in the club name (ex. Smith High School HOSA). PROCEDURES: 1. Advisors/Students should submit their T-shirt and essay to Georgia HOSA via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. All shipments must be received by October 1, 2015. Any entries received after this date will not be considered. 2. Georgia HOSA will deliver the top 10 T-shirts to the Georgia National Fairgrounds prior to the opening of the Fair for display. Your submission of a T-shirt will serve as your official entry into the Fall Leadership Rally. CONTEST RULES: 1. The chapter must submit 2 T-shirts, so the front and the back of the shirt can be displayed. Chapters should also submit a 100-150 word essay that explains the t-shirts design and how it represents the chapter. 3. The HOSA logo should be incorporated into the design. The logo may either be the HOSA national logo, state logo or chapter logo. Proper guidelines for logo use can be found at: www.georgiahosa.org 4. The T-shirt must have the current school year: 2015-2016. 7. The top entries will be displayed during the Georgia National Fair. Entries must remain in display for the duration of the Fair. Early removal of exhibits will result in forfeiture of premiums and possible disqualification from future competition. 8. Entries will be picked up by Georgia HOSA after the Fair and delivered to the Fall Leadership Conference for pick-up. Any entries not picked up at FLC will be discarded. EVALUATION: General Effect/Impact- effectively represents HOSA (40 points) Promotes local chapter Accuracy of Information Overall Appearance Design Elements and General Appearance (60 points) Construction, Colors, Artistic Flair, Uniqueness, Creativity
